Hi, guys. I want to ask the Digi HTC Legend is it two years warranty like the sis set or one year warranty?
I have gone to some Digi booth and ask about it. They told me the phone's warranty is cover by D'mobile and is only one year warranty. However, I see some of the thread in Trade forum stated it is two years warranty but seems noone question about it. So I getting a little bit confuse.
*
I asked the HTC customer service desk (LYP level 4) about warranty when handing in my warranty card and was told this:
1 year covered by HTC for device and accessories.
2nd year covered by SIS for device only.

I can't help feeling like a tool when forking out RM50 for it, knowing in the back of my mind Epicase + screen protector is RM25.

my friend was buying a screen protector for his phone and I gatal gatal asked for Legend casing (knowing 100% sure no available model). Mana tau got and have 2 colours to choice from. White and Grey.

The white one makes it look like Iphone white.

It does. Nice to see, nice to hold.
Then I figure I have to pamper my Legend a bit too.

does it feels like frosted glass at the back?
*
It does feel like frosted glass at the back, but not the ultra rubbery type. The sides are clear silicon.
All in all, tactile-wise I didn't feel much lost compared to the naked body.

Woohoo Froyo is coming! Actually I was expecting this. There are rumors going around that some of the new devices from HTC is not getting Froyo, which is absolutely BS in my opinion.
*
The problem is how long it takes for HTC to update Legend to 2.2. The Hero camp have been waiting like forever for the promised 2.1.

Am considering getting a capdase too. Is the power button hard to press after attaching the capdase case?

Also, is the included screen protector a normal one or an anti-finger print one? And is it the correct shape (for Legend)?

Thanks.
*
the power button: it is the same but have to press more to the left.
screen protector: the normal one. Still have fingerprint. The shape is Legend's shape.

Couple ago I saw in PDAExpert it was like RM1899.

You can also find Legend in HTC Customer Service Centre at Plaza Berjaya Ground Floor (opposite Times Square).

Been using legend for a week. So far great phone never hanged.  The call quality is clear and loud. in fact a bid too loud. need to reduce the volume to the lowest.

My only complain is the battery life. it is horrible. hardly last 12hours. not sure if something is wrong with the battery.  I don't play games and wifi and 3G is off most of the time. I've reduced the screen brightness to lowest too.

How about other users, how long your phone last? Rather dissapointed with the battery life.
*
One full day usage. Install BatteryLite and monitor your battery.

default? do you mean the phone type keyboard? Mind to tell me how to change it to default keyboard? thanks
*
it very likely that you are using the default keyboard right now.

my keyboard now is voice activated. I don't need to type, I can speak and it will recognize my speech and turn it into text.

Yeah u can say that again. Legend or desire. I chose desire cos of bigger screen. No regrets at all hehe smile.gif
*
I would have been in Desire camp too, but my budget for phone is RM1K.
When/If Digi rolls out Desire for RM1099, I'll get poisoned again, for sure.

But for anyone contemplating between getting Legend or Desire, just decide if you are in the "Form over function" or "Function over form" camp.

i've tried this rom. no doubt it's fast, but i noticed a few disadvantages:
-missing radio app
-no usb tethering
-only 5 home screens
-icons are iphone-style

if you can live with the above, and want a fast UI, then i'd recommend it biggrin.gif
