How about your jumper? Is that the F or tick icon is Green or red?
F if you are using Fiber line, while tick symbol if your line is connected directly to the exchange..

J is still red colour. I see an "S" too.
What does it mean?

Here is one too.

Under the status still "under installation"

And can i start to register online at TM Online for me to pay my bill online in the future?

At least good one from TM.

1. Register for a new fixed line with Streamyx Blockbuster 1Mbps yesterday, 30th June 2011.
2. TM Contractor went to my house to install the new fixed line and i got my deck phone on the spot too, 1st July 2011.
3.According to the schedule, my Streamyx will be install on 5th July 2011.

So far so good. I simply cannot wait.

J - means Jumper. Depending on your line, whether it is terminated at the street fiber cabinet or directly to the main exchange. For fiber cabinet, it will be marked as F while direct to the exchange is a tick sign. For red colour symbol, probably the jumper are still not done yet, or much more complicated cases, there's no free port available for u at the DSLAM/ DSLAM problem/ Port is "damaged" etc... sweat.gif Just hope that everything is fine... hahaha... But i think, since you just installed the phone line yesterday, their contractor still not jumper the port. Contractor name also not available. Try to check back the status using that system this Monday. If the contractor name is available (plus if the contractor name and contact number are available, usually that red F symbol will turn to green colour 'F'), you can straightly call them regarding your streamyx installation.

S - means Speed. If the contractor configure your port at it's existing (default) settings, there will be 'X' red colour symbol. Which means, there's no change in the port default speed. Example, usually for the newer IPDSLAM, the default speed configured is 2048/512 (download/upload). But if you upgraded your packages, let's say to 4Mbps, their appointed contractor will change your port speed, ranging from 4096/512 or if you can "pujuk that technician, they will cap it to 5024/512... In this case, that red 'X' symbol will change to tick green symbol which means, there are change to the port speed...

hahaha... Sorry bro... I have no idea at all on how to "pujuk" them to cap your line to 5Mbps... notworthy.gif tongue.gif

On my case, there's no "pujuk-pujuk" one... they straightly cap my line to 5120Kbps downstream... But I still didn't managed to get more than 4Mbps.. the best speed that I can get is 3.8Mbps...

No use if they cap your port for example to 8Mbps while your account is just capped to 4Mbps...

I think you're misunderstood with the Fiber Line..
Actually, Fiber is only from the main exchange (ibu sawat) to the nearest cabinet around your resident areas.
Starting from the cabinet, it's all copper... That technology is called as Fiber to the Curb/Cabinet.
The reality is, there's nothing impressive about that Fiber line, TM just done that to remove the distance limitations of DSL and also to minimize the usage of copper cable in communication which all of us know, the target things for those cable stealer... sweat.gif

Anyway, congratulations! They already setup your jumper tongue.gif Just waiting for the technician to come to your house...

AjkR06 :
oh! They changed the fibre to the exchange so to increase the SNR margin ar?.Fiber is much cheaper than copper meh..? >_<

Added on July 3, 2011, 1:08 pmAdditional : Eventually can i ask them to change the line to fast path to receive better latency?
Since i tried before they accidentally set from interleave to fast path.
Then my SNR margin raised
