what is the price if we want it without modem?? for the 4mbps

The cheapest wil be RM140 blockbuster deal with free modem, previously 4Mb without modem is RM268.

i think theres no more package without modem in bb deals.

I wanted to apply for this but I need to confirm one thing. Is the high speed connection for both Streamyx Home Basic Packages and Streamyx Blockbuster Deals is exactly the same except for pricing and free items? There is no difference in their Streamyx wired connection?

the RM60 no more? Thinking of changing my hometown from RM66 + 25 to RM60 package..

Saya hendak melanggan package ini:


Rumah saya dahulu nya mempunyai talian tetap akan tetapi pasal suma orang kat rumah dah guna telefon, maka that fix line has been terminated.
Soalan saya di sini:

1. Apabila saya hendak mendaftar, adakah saya perlu membuat apa-apa bayaran pada waktu itu di:
a) TMpoint
b) Streamyx Agent

2. Mengikut apa yang dikatakan dalam iklan tersebut, bill fix line akan di integrate dengan bill streamyx. Jadi, saya mendapat satu bill sahaja. Benarkah?

3. Pada pemasangan oleh kontaktor, adakah saya perlu membayar RM30 or RM50 kerana saya dahulunya ada line telephone tetapi sudah diterminate.

4. Apabila pemasangan bagi talian baru dilakukan, setiap meter tambahan daripada 5 meter yang diperuntukkan akan di charge RM5. Jadi, adakah jarak tersebut mengambil kira jarak tiang telefon di luar rumah ke kediaman saya?

5. Untuk bil bulan pertama, kedua dan ketiga, berapakah saya harus bayar?

6. Berapa lama masa yang biasanya diperuntukkan daripada tarikh kita mendaftar ke tempoh mendapat talian telefon baru dan streamyx sekali?

Maaf daripada saya sekiranya banyak persoalan di sini.

Added on June 29, 2011, 5:15 pm1) I just went to TMpoint to ask about my previous terminated line and also asking about to subscribe TM Fixed Line + Streamyx BB 1.0 Mbps

2) My previous number have outstanding amount of RM42.80 and i need to settle the payment first before asking for a new line along with Streamyx BB 1.0 Mbps.

3) I paid the outstanding amount and this Friday I'll go back again to TMpoint to register the new phone line along with Streamyx BB 1.0 Mbps.

4) Just to make sure that i can have both fixed line + streamyx being install in a week, i'll perhaps say "next two weeks i need to go to K.L. Could you please put this as "Urgent Application" and put it right on front of the application?". hehehe

Just went to TMpoint to register my TM fixed line so that i can pasang Streamyx BB 1Mbps.
Total payment was RM95 inclusive RM10 stamp duty and RM10 charge for picking up my own number.
I see the receipt slip and realized that i'll get a Motorola deck phone.

P/s: I tried to ask the staff to get me a D-Link wireless modem but she said it is up to the stock thus I can't choose any wifi modem model.

Streamyx suddenly upgraded my package from 1mbps to 2mbps.
LOL,for no reasons...hmm

how do you know that?
the bill is still the same price or increase to 2Mbps price?

The bill same as RM110,suddenly got an increase of 2mbps,today they touched my line awhile since tmnet come and fix something.Latency reduced alot too

IDK how but suddenly got upgraded
Since the modem always write 1536 one suddenly today they touch awhile become 2048
But then i feel speed increased also
But i'm applying 4mbps 7days only done...gosh

Guys, as the kontraktor to pasang the phone line will come either today or monday, i need to ask this.

1. The phone line i want to pasang tengah rumah. Can the kontraktor actually do the drilling so that the wire can pass through the house?

2. Got other charge or not or just pay RM50?

Is that your house already got phone socket? If that so, you just need to pay RM50 to them. Same case goes to me when I activate my phone line for my new house, the house developer already installed the phone socket at my living room (just under my home entertainment plug point). When the contractor come to my house, they straightly climb into the telephone pole located just behind my house, connect the drop copper wire to the distribution point at the pole and terminate it at the grey wire which is already concealed on my walls (he need to enter my roof and ceiling in order to connect it).

If your black drop cable is more than 5 meter (if i'm not mistaken), they will charge more to you...

Yes, my house did have a phone socket once but terminated since all people in the house have handphone.
But now need to install a new fix line so that they can installed streamyx later on.

I think the charges will be only RM30 since the drop wire already connected to your home. They just need to activate back your port at the exchange and configure your new phone at home...

At 11.30 a.m just now, TM contractor called me and i set up the installation of the new line by today since they said they can do it by today.
It took them only 30 minutes to pasang the new wire and the phone.
They also give the deck phone on the spot!
