I am using 512Kbps (RM66) + fixed line (RM26), I want to get rid of fixed line, and upgrade to 1Mbps provided the price is below RM100, did streamyx provide this package?

I've just noticed that they got rid of the 512kbps and 384kbps Combo Deals.

http://www.streamyx.com/promotions/promoti...ansformyourhome

That's like forcing the regular consumers to go for minimum 1mbps @ RM110

Considering this Blockbuster deal is also your monthly phone rental/fixed line phone service with internet,

Malaysians now are forced to spend on average over RM100 for internet and phone bills?

the 384kbps package should be streamyx combo and the 512kbps should be under blockbuster deals package.

According to TMPOINT at my area when I go there to upgrade my Streamyx speed...,
he said that certain or probably all TM subscribers who resides at Perak, Selangor, KL, Pahang and Melaka cannot use MIPS anymore for sign up, upgrading, check the order status etc since TM already migrated to the new customer service system called iCARE Prime. It applies to me when I upgrading my Streamyx speed, I cannot check my status at MIPS while actually my upgrade has been done successfully at new platform. Don't get shocked when u wanna upgrade your streamyx via MIPS, suddenly you get this message :

It was not due to mips problem, but your account has been migrated to icare prime...
It seems that we cannot register online anymore, need to go to TMPOINT now.... doh.gif
or going through agent....

May I ask? smile.gif

If now I'm using Streamyx-in-a-box, I'm not sure what is my internet package or speed. But I guess its around 1mbps.

I want to apply for BBDeals 4mbps and here's what I need to ask:

1. If now, I upgrading to BBD, will I still get free router and cord phone?
2. The router that I'm using now will return to TM? Or I still can keep this router and continue using it when my line is 4mbps?
3. How much do I have to pay for upgrading? As I know 4mbps is around RM140.
4. Is my place suitable for this 4mbps line?

Here are some of my information:

-Model Name: DSL-2640B
-Mode:
-SNR Margin (dB):Down/Up: 32.9/25.0
-Attenuation (dB):Down/Up: 2.0/1.0

If can, please answer all my statement above xD!
Thank You very Much and God Bless!

Is it worth upgrading to this deal? Now I'm on RM88/month 1MBPS+RM26 phone rental+charges for phone calls.

I'm not sure how much is my current bills for 1MBPS,RM88(Streamyx)+RM26(phone rental)+about RM5?(for call charges) is also more than RM110 already.

If I take the 1MBPS Blockbuster Deal RM110/month,consider worth it or not?Or more worth it to take RM140/month 4MBPS? biggrin.gif

No.. RM110 is including phone rental...
So basically, u only pay RM110 per month if u not make any call to mobile numbers and fixed line which not falls under TM like maxis etc...

So RM26 phone rental is included in the RM110 right? And all calls to TM Fixed Line are free. But I thought there are no other fixed line than TM?

Mobile numbers will still charge right?

So is this package more worth than the normal package RM88/month 1MBPS+RM26 phone rental?

if I am taking 1Mbps Rm99/month package, can I don't want the phone so that the phone rental fee can be waived or it is compulsory to have the phone 1?
