any good brand car charger for iphone 3gs? i used the iphone gps when i'm in KL/selangor area. i worry one day when emergency my iphone does not have enough battery power, so i hope to get a good car charger for it.

just bought iphone fm maxis. but it cannot sync with my itunes. it doesnt detect. how come?

Ic ok.. Bcs so far i see the past 3 years every year have a new iphone model right? So was just asking what are the chances of a new model coming out this year?

yup.. bcos many news came out like iphone 4g pic model, spec and etc but just not sure is true or not..

You upgrade the firmware using iTunes?

My bigboss(father) gave it to me yesterday...i tried downgrading the FW to 3.1.2 but error 1015 comes up...hmmm dunno wat to do next..

From what I know this is an australian set (MB496X/A), iphone 3G black 16GB....do we really need the respective network simcard to activate it? If not, no other way? This set comes with 2.2 FW before the update. It got WinterBoard before...now if cannot use as phone, use as ipod touch is good enough for me since I already have another phone to use...

OK I have just successfully downgraded the FW to 3.1.2....now still stuck to activate it...inserted my celcom simcard, cannot activate it...now what bro?

geez, telstra? touch luck.

telstra has the most expensive unlocking fee in australia; AUD150 if i'm not wrong.

vodafone is AUD50.

try checking out telstra's website for the exact procedure and price.

Unlocked? (or Part Number): Artifically unlocked (Part Number MC145C)
Current Firmware : 3.1.2
Current network: Maxis
iTunes Version : 9.0
PC/MAC : Mac
Jailbreaking software : blackra1n
Problem Encountered : I keep getting a 'Could not Activate Cellular Data Network' message whenever I try to either send MMS or use 3G
Steps Taken So Far :
1) Checked the settings for MMS in this thread (http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/868281/+10) and mine is the same details
2) Resetting the phone. Didn't work. Still got the same message.

Other Information/Remarks :
I'm wondering if it's the network itself is having problems, or it's my own phone. This has only happened recently (the past few days). Previously, I haven't had this problem after enabling MMS.Any advice is appreciated!

i am also facing the same problem but my friend doesn't having this kind of problem. i tried to change the sim and i think is the set problem. any solution for this?

guys,recently my phone hang and switch to safe mode automatically when i click apps. it turn back to normal and occur again few days later, so any solution besides to restore the phone?

umm..i mean..in my case...if i juz activate 3G back..leaving gprs/edge still disabled by maxis..wad will happen?

what if i turned on 3g and turned off edge using sbsetting?

if i'm right, its almost impossible to turn off EDGE using any of the tools out there.

SBsetting has edge data toggle, but it never works well.  Sometimes, it will toggle off and my phone will just detect gprs, but at time i still see the 'E' next to my carrier logo.

so most likely if you turn on 3g and the rest off, it will still switch to edge and then gprs(if no edge signal is found).

Can I know on how to fix this kind of problem? the iphone 3gs have been around 6 month and the right speaker from the back is much lesser sound than the other 1. So I need to know if theres anyone who encountered with the same problem and how do you fix this kind of problem?

Second problem is that when i want to type on msg it cant be a landscape mode when i turn it 90 degree. So once again if theres anyone encountered the same problem and how do u fix it?

i cannot use my 3G service with Digi...any idea?try sim card with other phone no prob...FW version is 3.0.1,already jailbroke and unlock...went to digi centre yesterday,they cannot help since it is not digi's prob..already filled up the cellular data info such diginet,still not working....please...i need an expert with iphone on this...
