1 more question,is 3gs kuat makan battery?i just surf fb for few mins, make 2 calls for 2mins and send 2 sms,now battery left 90% (9am until 12pm) .this morning before 9am i charge full

my homescreen always show 3g lo.how to turn off and on when need use ?can't jailbreak for fw 3.1.3

I'm not sure whether the onus is on the phone or the network.

Currently using 3gs with Maxis postpaid. Version 3.1.3. Obviously non JB.

I had several occurences where even though the signal bar is full with 3G, somehow data call can't be connected. All data-dependent apps does not work at all.

My only solution is to reboot the phone and yes data is on again. May I know if there is anyone having the same issue? (and perhaps better and easier solution?) I would like to know if the phone to be blamed or it's just simply Maxis network. I'm in Bangi.

Anyway, also depends on which provider u wanna go for, so far only Maxis have announced the Micro SIM which ipad and iphone 4G uses, and no news from DiGi yet.

My suggestion to Larry, if need a phone urgently and like iPhone 3GS, get it now as u can still update the firmware to 4.0, which will be used for iPhone 4G anyways.

If prefer to wait (no idea when for local official versions), then maybe get a cheapo phone and wait...

erm...my iphone got problem now , since the first day i got my iphone , my wifi very weak , but still can detect my home wifi , my friends told me iphone wifi very    , so i forget about it .
but then my brother and my sister iphone wifi was no problem and can detect the wifi , so i think this is my iphone problem , i get my iphone from maxis , can i warranty it or get a new 1? i JB it already and now i am using 3.1.3 vers .

has been test :

restoration and test without jailbreak
reset whole setting although only need reset network setting
fully charge the battery

so how ah ? can warranty or not  ? i heard my friends say you jailbreak the phone  , u lost the warranty , teach me teach me

I not so sure that my iphone still under warranty or not. I bought it secondhand from forumer here. If the iphone not under warranty, the iphone repair shop can fix it or not?
