if you cannot enter DFU, something is definitely wrong with it.

where is your unit from? maxis?

better try resorting to redeem your warranty (if it is still valid)

Hi guys..

I got problem wif my 3gs..

Whenever i charge the phone & call at the same time, i can feel like some leaking electric at the chrome area.. I can feel it spark to my ear..

What should i do?

it does happen sometimes.

my suggestion is to use the earphones provided to chat or charge via a PC/MAC's USB port

hehehehe..thats normal bro..i have been getting the issue ..advisable dont use phone when charging...but sometime i think maybe the cable problem too...

Once an iPhone is jailbroken, the warranty is null and void. So, before you send it in for a claim, make sure you restore it.

Erm, i thought he said he cant boot it up??
If cant boot up, means cant restore?
If cant restore means he's in trouble?

i have jailbreak iphone 3g with FW 3.1.2, my poblem is i cannot sent mms bcause there is no camera icon besides the input text column, before this it never happen, but i can see the mms setting in the setting-general-network, how i can solve this problem...

are you on maxis or digi?

because if you are, just restore (as new or from backup) and then when the prompt comes up to update the carrier settings, just click 'update settings'

I use celcom prepaid.....
If i update setting it still jailbreak FW or it wiil go to original FW..?

hi all,i just got my 3gs 16gb black from maxis on yesterday evening.i want to ask questions as below

1)how to set ringtone?
2)can install themes?
3)can jailbreak for 3gs? some my friends said 3gs not yet can jailbreak
4)how to copy contacts from phone to sim?
