make sure your wifi signal is strong and stable.........
switch on the air plane mode is the most easiest and hassle free way for now...one very very major con is your phone will turn into an ipod touch until u switch off the air plane mode....sbs settings is the best way to settle this....

Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network ( can u access this in your iphone? if can delete everything under cellular data)

In the past i could save one number for a contact with the area code included (e.g. 555-555-5555) and the caller ID would pick up the name for the corresponding number if i got a text or phone call, but now all of a sudden the name would only show up for a text if i save the number as (+1-555-555-5555), so i have to save the same number in my contacts like 3 times different ways.

How can I change the settings back to the way they where?

Hi people,

Not sure is the correct way to open new thread here but i encounter 1 issue is that my iphone home button seem stuck for some time....

Some time when i press the home button, ntg will happen. Like if my phone under locked mode, i pressed the home button, nothing happen. I need to press several times in order to make it work.

My question : Is this hardware failure or software failure? I under Maxis warranty, can i go claim it? or i only need to format it then everything settle?

IMO, its hardware problem. You could try to claim warranty from Maxis. If worst comes to worst, consult local hardware technician.

consult Machines (google it)

to certain whether its software or hardware issue

do a clean restoration..test it while its in clean state

but do backup ur iphone first

afterwards restore ur iphone backup

hmm Machine ppl will help us check for free? even we din buy from them? scare they charge me only

is the phone still under warranty? if yes, better send back to maxis. if not, then find a technician guy repairing iphone and get them done

Clearly it is locked again because you had updated firmware thru iTunes. And bear in mind yours in locked set. You are here just like waiting for durian to drop by itself. You said you cant find anything in internet for hours, i type in google within few seconds i got the solution. Teaching you step by step is just like spoon feeding a baby man. Errr .... it said "insert a valid sim with no pin lock to activate iphone" does not mean that the phone is lock.

Did you activate PIN password for your sim? If so, put it in other phone and remove the PIN password and try again with your iPhone.
