hoora ! the gym is available !!!

btw i asked the receptionist and he said just sign the book at the counter before going in the gym.

that's all right ?

and he told me that one must book the court in advanced..
however, some seniors told my frens that you could just jump in and play lol ..

can someone confirm this @@

I've been here for quite some time before I saw the notice requiring me to sign in at the gym. So there's a lack of control here I guess.

And, about the courts, of course you can just play anytime, but anyone who booked it in advance will have the right to kick you out. smile.gif

Guys, question. I know some local uni students from, say, UM have special deals that allow them to buy MS Windows very cheaply at student prices-- massive discounts. Do we have the same advantage? I know that we can buy MS Office Enterprise at RM250 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro at RM89, but what about Win7? Ada deal kah?

Hmm, ask the respective companies, as mentioned.

Or you can ask IS Office since we're under MSDNAA. Eh, waitamin, you don't have MSDNAA access? If not you're already entitled to free Windows 7 like mine LOL.

I believe that free Win7 through MSDNAA access seems to be Engineering only? Anyway how to check if got MSDNAA access?

Engineering and Computer Science. Others I am not sure. If they didn't send you the link for MSDNAA then most likely you wouldn't have it I think.

Enquiries to IS Office would be more appropriate in this case.

I studying Chemical Engineering.
Can I comment?
Erm,it's only one module different each semester.
So for 3 years course,it will be 6 modules different.
I'd say the environmental one will go towards environmental stuff as pure chemical ones will get to learn more chemistry things.

Thanks for the comment.

If I am not mistaken Nottingham's classes are fixed right? So you can't adjust the time for them ....
If it is convenient for you can I know the time for when the class starts and ends for you?

Cuz I'm thinking of driving there to study instead of finding accommodation near the campus.
And I'm also curious about parking spaces in the campus too. Do I need to apply for sticker or something liek that?

Please, unless you own a nice car, don't drive to Uni. tongue.gif

Hahahahah just joking. If you have no choice, then drive a car. If possible, just car pool your friends.

Of course, you'll need a car to come here, so drive here. laugh.gif
