Guys-- coursework submission question. My deadline was 2pm today (Friday) but I missed it and office is closed now. So when I submit on Monday do I lose 5 marks or 10 marks? Saturday not working day right?

Guys, question. I know some local uni students from, say, UM have special deals that allow them to buy MS Windows very cheaply at student prices-- massive discounts. Do we have the same advantage? I know that we can buy MS Office Enterprise at RM250 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro at RM89, but what about Win7? Ada deal kah?

@rxy: Yup! Unfortunately since now I found a job at Popular bookstore (just need to clarify some more details with the manager there before taking the job), I don't think I will have much time to sit and enjoy music. When you're working 9-10 hours a day, come back home also too damn tired to enjoy, I think. Between work and acoustic guitar classes... issh, Edifier C3 also will not be burned in properly before September I think. laugh.gif

@keivin1991: There are always lots of foreign students around, is that special?

Uhm, never had any problems. I walk around in round collar tees all the time. People walk around in singlet style tops pun ada. At least one gwailo was doing that, but he went to the gym and not class I think. Anyway if you tried that in class you will freeze, air-con is either dead or waaay too cold.

Dance type in the dance club? Lots. Got Latin, ballroom, hip-hop... About 7 types at least, I think. I may be member but never had time to actually go. sweat.gif

Wear most whatever you like. Seen girls walking around in mini skirts to class and gwailoh in bermudas, so you're safe. As for accomodations-- someone remind me what's the latest on their schizo policy again?

Nope, no twinning courses. Why twin when you're already STUDYING at Nottingham itself by default? Only awarding body IS U of Nottingham. Notts M'sia = Notts UK = Notts Ningbo.

Anyone already have confirmed place with off-campus accomodation? Pioneer already confirmed with me... got the specifics already. Suggest whoever having problems with accomodation with Pioneer go to their office and talk to Ms. Serena.

I usually blank or dump all the ultra expensive rooms at the bottom of my list. Seems to work so far.

rxy, off-campus is expensive under Pioneer. Starts from RM480 for a small room with shared ensuite bathroom up to RM900 for a master bedroom with private ensuite bathroom (RM450 if you share with another person). Those with less money to burn or have their own transport are better off looking for rooms to rent off campus from non-corporate landlords. Cheaper with better facilities like washing machines. I only go for Pioneer because they have places REALLY close to campus, and I don't have to clean the house on my own, LOL.

Our campus is basically a branch campus-- all the same university. So yes, degree from Malaysian Campus= Degree from UK campus.
