Yes, there will be spotchecks according to my friend. I do not know how does the spotcheck get carried out though. Do they enter using their own copies of keys or come knock your doors asking you to open, that would make big differences.

I can understand the use of fridge, air cooler and washing machine (can fit meh?) that would take up a lot of electricity. Banning those does sound reasonable - but printer? LOL..
Laptop, desktop and chargers are so far what I was told allowed.

Cooking is allowed in the pantry, which is available every wings (and each floor has 3 wings, each halls has 3-4 floors). But NO, I won't use the stove there, nor the kettle, nor the fridge.

But one thing to be done for all incoming residents, it's best to ask what could be brought, what couldn't.

You have to sign in first though.

wanna ask something here,university of nottingham twin to UK rite? what i heard is if that uni twin to uk normally if u wanna transfer to aus its abit difficult rite?

^none of UNMC's programs are twinning. Degrees awarded by UNMC is identical to the ones awarded by University of Nottingham, UK. This is the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus. It just so happen that a few programs require students to complete the degree in UK (not an option I think).

About credit transfer, AFAIK it would be easier if it's among Australian or UK degrees, but not between these two degrees. I reckon it's still case-by-case, even among Australian universities (my friend did his business degree in Metropolitan (Twin with Curtin IIRC) and transferred to Monash in Year 2, but need to retake a few subjects).

UK and Aus has different systems. No point trying to do a 1st year UK but the subsequent Aus. If your final destination is Aus, stick to those programmes that twin with Aus, or Monash.
That being said, you can still do that, just that you may risk yourself wasting your 1 year in Nottingham. Everything depends on the university in Australia and they can just say the courses are not compatible and you have to redo. It can happen.

If this room you are refering to is a single room, I say it is much cheaper than renting a room owned by Pioneer (on campus and off campus accommodation) and Perintis Kencana (on campus accommodation).
However, I advise you to visit the house first to see if the facilities are adequate e.g. the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are properly equipped, the house is clean, etc.
Also, do not take a long time to make your decision because these houseowners are money-minded people.
They may give the room to someone else who have paid the deposit despite the fact the you have booked the room.

If you are satisfied with the room as it is, it is alright to rent it. At least you have found a room at TTS5, which is your main objective.
