Degree will be better compared to advanced diploma.Although it is called advanced diploma, most employee will threat it as diploma.I heard cases that a degree holder getting higher paid then advanced diploma holder.(both being fresh graduates)

3 months to go UK to top up your Adv Dip to degree + tour in UK.
Anywya, you've asked questions which are irrelevant to ACCA
YOu can always try to find TARC thread and ask at there
They can provide you a better answer smile.gif

I'm his 2.3(IRC) & 3.2 student.

His teaching technique are 1/2 exam + 1/2 practice, means that he will share a lot of actual practice thing with student. His exam technique is very good, make student know step by step to answer question. Student no need to prepare anything if study under him, cos he always prepare a lot of study material for student.

One more thing was he always provide some drink and food in morning and afternoon for tea break. This is only the revsion class got tea time in KL.

Doubt so

Added on March 5, 2010, 6:14 pmBtw,

I think the recommended lecturer list is a little obsolete,

Like I was under Ms Pushpa for F4 in Sunway and I believe she taught very well, and she is a very experienced lecturer as well, maybe we should add her up on the front page.

Found some students who always find difficulties in P3 and failed. Good news for them. Found this on Inti's website.

ACCA P3 IPS 6 sessions (RM450)- Michael Mainwaring.

Features of Intensive Practice Session (IPS)
1. 6 sessions of discussion on areas that most students find difficulties.
2. Focus on exam key areas.
3. Practice questions and discuss on how to gain marks.
4. IPS notes.
5. BPP revision kits.
6. One test and One mock exam. All answer scripts will be marked.

Who should attend?
1. For those students who had attended exam before and failed.
2. For those students who have knowledge on the subject but do not know how to use exam technique to gain marks.
3. For those students who do not want to attend any more classes but need lecturer to show them how to avoid mistake and focus on gaining more marks.
4. For those students who currently attending classes but lack of praticising exam style questions

INTENSIVE REVISION COURSE (IRC)
ACCA P3 IPS & IRC (12 sessions in 6 days) RM800

What can I say? He is good!

Can someone explain to me the difference between these two terms: Provision OF vs Provision FOR? Thanks in advance.

If my understanding is correct, "Provision for" means a mere estimate but "Provision of" relates to cost incurred. Am I right or wrong?

What is law if you don't memorize the section numbers? Even in the answers scheme, the section numbers are there

Kinda depends...I passed my F4(77 somore tongue.gif) without quoting much of those case law and section numbers BUT most probably you are expected to know some basic case laws and sections(eg. s.20 of Company's Act, Carbolic Smoke Co. case etc.)
I mean remembering one or two main sections of the law wouldn't hurt much

So what is the verdict ? I don't have any problem with the main sections, i only have an issue with the subsections, like S153(1) and stuff. Is it enough to
just write out the main section only ?
