how come nobody is mentioning P6 Siva Nair??? he is the marker for P6 wor..but seems to be here nobody knows about him.. have i attended the wrong class cry.gif

According to somebody, he is ok ok for P6 la, but if Kwai Fatt really run revision class this seating, then it is recommend to go.

Last yr Oct, when I attend Kwai Fatt's Budget 2010 seminar, I asked him when want to come back to run P6 class. He told me teach P6 very difficult, not much market currently. I think may be he want demand from student, then baru consider la. Since now Coolly ask on behalf of him, I think the chance he come back will be high if really got demand. So all P6 student, email him to ask him la, haha~!

anyone know where is good for F8 and P1?

You can consider Philip Woo (KSA) or Sheila (MCO) for both F8 & P1. Currently they are the most demand lecturer in KL for F8 & P1.

he might hav fantastic knowledge in tax but is he that fantastic as well in transferring his knowledge to his students? I've been wondering this for a while ... haha. Any former students of ckf here? How is he so superior over the other p6 lecturers??
*
I'm his 2.3(IRC) & 3.2 student.

His teaching technique are 1/2 exam + 1/2 practice, means that he will share a lot of actual practice thing with student. His exam technique is very good, make student know step by step to answer question. Student no need to prepare anything if study under him, cos he always prepare a lot of study material for student.

One more thing was he always provide some drink and food in morning and afternoon for tea break. This is only the revsion class got tea time in KL.

Hey guys, i am taking F4 this sitting. My lecturer said its a must to memorise sections of the act, while i saw Guide that it is not necessary to quote section numbers. so which is it ?
*
I teaching u the faster & easier technique to study F4.

What u need to do is STUDY HARD MORE THAN 6 TO 10 YEARS PAST YEAR QUESTION & ANSWER, I can gurantee u for your June 2010 question SURE got at least 75% repeat from what your study.

Erm, hasn't it been that way for quite long? But Sunway U. College is having its own graduation which is fortunate for sunway students.. lol. I'm wondering if colleges like Bandar/Orange/inti etc have their own ?
But I received this email

"ACCA is pleased to invite you to ACCA Celebrates, a special event organised to celebrate your success for completing the ACCA examinations. It will be an opportunity for you to catch up with friends who have gone through the same journey as well as a platform to obtain more information on your next course of action in obtaining ACCA memberships.

Come and celebrate with us!"

Does this event take place every sem for fresh grad? Who here will be attending? heh.
*
haha, I think it is very difficult for Bandar/Orange to arrange their own since KL student normally jump college by follow lecturer.

*
You can keep it for reference for P6. But when u take P6, may be your notes already outdated. cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Better take p6 this sitting before RPGT comes out again in exam.. This June sitting will be the last sitting without RPGT and Richard Thornton last sitting as examiner. hopefully he will be abit lenient this coming sitting.
*
Actually RPGT is a easier chapter in P6/3.2. I still remember my sitting in 3.2(P6), I can pass bcos of 2 RPGT question.

Student no need to worry too much on RPGT if take exam in Dec 2010, but more worry about new examiner cos this paper never change examiner since from old old syllabus 90-an.

Hi guys, need some advice here.
I self study F4 for this June, and plan to attend a revision class.
Anyone attended Sanjeetha or Viknes IRC and mind to share your opinion on below?
1. Will IRC students get the complete course notes?
2. Will the lecturer still go through briefly on theory, or just discuss on PYQ.
Thanks.
*
I teaching u the faster & easier method to study F4. Try to find 10 years (means yr 2000 - yr 2009, old syllabus call 2.2) past year Q & A, study & memorise it by hard. I gurantee in your exam paper, 80% of the question will be repeat from what you study.

any tips for F8 and F4 MYS? hehe..
*
F8 is a killer paper, you need to work hard, don't depend on tips.

F4 is easier, no need tips, just study and memorise by hard for 8 to 10 years past year question & answer, I gurantee your F4 in the exam day, at least 75% of the question will be repeat from what your study in PYQ.

Just wanna ask, is LAN subject necesary for ACCA student?

Sunway office just called me coz i didn't sign up for their LAN.

coz i read that if you don't do LAn you won't get the cert. but ACCA cert send directly to my house wat? so that means i can just ignore their threat???

just did my f2 CBE. 93 ^^

now have to focus on f3. T_T i hate this paper. financial accounting. dun really understand.
*
ACCA is external exam, college just provide tuition but not exam, so that's nothing to do with LAN subject. May be for Sunway, LAN subject is compulsory, but for other college n KL, no LAN subject for student.

Is it true that LAN subject is not compulsory for ACCA student?
How about CAT student?
Btw,LAN subject refers to the pengajian malaysia and such right?
*
ACCA/CAT is external exam, not college exam. College only provide tuition and assist student in registration process for exam. College don't have rights to ask student complusory go for LAN. Even they said LAN is compulsory for their college student, but if you didn't sign up LAN, they also don't have any rights to stop you take ACCA/CAT exam.

If really don't need to take LAN subjects,i would quit that pengajian malaysia class now....
*
Don't worry, College don't have any rights to stop ACCA sending CAT/ACCA cert to you.

is f1,f2, f3 easy, erm as if stpm? cos i'm hoping to clear the "easier" acca papers fast n maybe taking 2 or 3 papers only per sitting later on.
thanks  smile.gif

Although f1, f2, f3 not difficult, but you need more time to study if really take 3 paper. For part time student, it is not recommmend to take so many paper in one sitting.

May be for f1, f2 and f3, you can take in 1 sitting, but from f4 onwards, I strongly recommend you only take max 2 paper per sitting.
