Added on March 30, 2010, 2:23 pmboth is about the same car...just in terms of handling...waja has better handling (1st batch)...compare to persona...but sometimes i feel persona more planted when driving at highspeed compare to waja as sometimes i do feel wooble a bit... but in both has good handling...

my persona are 2008 batch now clocking about 40k km.I'm very satisfied with my persona but the only things that annoying me is when aircond is on..the engine seem to be losing it power. I need to rev more to gain momentum. Are there any solution ?

Still waiting my Persona Elegance. Loan approved on 26/3, don't know when its ready to deliver.

Heard that VS with 5 point ground cable can solve this problem

Just Opinion..........

Better dont scold the SA.... try to be rasional but always keep f/up with them.... Just keep calling but in good manner...
Scared that if you marah2 the SA will tangkap muat and you will get a problematic car....

Just call me SA.. She said just summited to JPJ and the car not yet reach the show room yet. Either tomorrow evening or thursday only get car , b ut seems like waited very long......

If the SA still pick up your phone call then you got to be patient about it, because no matter how to chase them, they still will give you a lot of reason this and that hehe. But if the SA don't pick up your phone, that is real frustrated

Might be some hose already wore out and leaking the radiator water



Anyway, i really need to issue an urgent attention to all persona owner. You might want to check the aircond piping at the back of the engine (near the iafm module). There should be rubber joint coming from the engine and touching the aircond piping. U all might want to take alert of this. In my case, the rubber hose kept on RUBBING with the aircond pipe till the pipe were ERODED and leaking the aircond gas. I took some pictures, but now at office and forgot to bring my memory card reader. Later i'll upload it for everyone to see.

Haih... stupid design....

Very good SC, i listed down 7 small problems and all of it were settled, very satisfied with their services, besides it only cost rm141.55.

no leakage found.... ...could be gasket d..la...but never overheat before...

and someone in the forum posted about the iafm aircond pipe before....you must coat it with insulflex or sponge to prevent damage on the hose.

with VS n ground wire it wont help u much.i'm using Guang Dao VS n got 5 point ground wire.ya it do improve your car respond but still lag power when aircond kick in.the only way 2 settle the lost power when aircond on is change the crank pulley,aircond compressor pulley n altenator pulley 2 d lite weight 1.then it will b much better.but the cost...i had no idea coz i cant found a lite aircond pully n altenator pulley so far.oni manage to get crank pulley

Family owns the first generation Persona baseline model and planning to get the high line facelift end of this year. (was initially targeting the SE)

Few questions:
1. Can someone explain the cruise control to me? Like whether the speed will be constant when uphill and downhill, easy to use or not, and is there a special "screen/light" to indicate what speed you locked it at? (Audi has a light which will light up on the numbers on the speedo, effing cool!)

2. The GPS, easy to update? Or should I rely on my Nokia's OVI maps? (which hates KL roads )

Does anyone know any showroom around Puchong, PJ and Subang area which actually has a highline for test drive? The one opposite IOI mall takde.

I own an SE. Cruise control really works great. I uses it everyday to and from my office. Once cruise control on, the car will try to maintain constant speed whether uphill or downhill. When uphill, if the car speed drops and feels underpower, the cruise control will make the car drop 1 gear and increase the engine rev higher to maintain same speed. once that happen, you will see the rev goes above 3k easily. slight hill accent is ok, but i don't recommend use to go uphill like genting. once on flat road back, it will shift up the gear again.

it is very easy to use. there's just a light to indicate the cruise control on - either speed set (green) or not (amber). speed you clock at is not shown. it's only in its memory. you will know when your needle stay put at a place. but its really easy to use. On -> reach desired speed -> set. Then you can pause (by stepping on the brake pedal or use the switch) -> control your pedal manually -> resume to speed set earlier (using the same switch)
