just did oil change..and using shell helix ultra 5w40... previously was using mobil 1 0w40.... every morning or cold start up, i can hear some "clak,clak" noise when using the mobil 1... but with shell helix ultra, there are no "clak,clak,clak" in the engine bay or any sound on the cold start/morning... i think the mobil 1 oil is thin since its 0w40 so thats why there is some sound on every morning... but mobil 1 definitely feels more pickup than shell ultra... ...will use shell for my permanent oil change..enough of testing other brands.

U know why? the thinner the oil... the more such noises can be heard only when cold starts... but heck, for the performance sake, i dun care about the sound then...

i rarely to travel long distance, just go to work and come back estimate around 20KM from home, my meter just clock-in 1.8k since i bought my elegance earlier April
need more 4200km to done my 5k service, i think maybe it will take another next 2month..

Added on May 7, 2010, 10:29 pmtalking one of the problem on the stock brake pad... i had drove my elegant m-line for 300km now, the first 200km doesn't felt much grip, but after the pad run in, now the grip starting to glue on the wheels... i guess i don't have to change the brake pads as i thought i wanted to after getting the car...

yayaya.....no more tak tak tak sound...and added orifice valve today~~~but the petrol still go on fast = =...RM90 run 2xxkm ...added RM65 run around 1xxkm and now half tank liao...

Thats it. The humming sound is getting too obvious.

Hmm I've driven all of the models before. (Vios and City is the older model).

Pick up it's between Vios, City and Swift.

Top speed, if you talk about how smooth it is at top speed, for me it's Persona. (I reached 160 without realizing, and was still picking up)

Lets talk about car detailing, very interest about this part,
for now i just using turtle ICE car wash, superb shine for my black car, and quick shine turtle wax, i want try meguiars but my place really hard to find that,
i dont mind spend alot-of money for my car beuty, for me dirty car its criminal.. how some people can drive dirty car around city.

anyway i found some this shop the name carboy at my place, their specialist for car detailing, it use all range meguiars product. and the price really attractive than CARs, 3step polish and wax their offer me RM118.
