Yeah, those normal standing fans everyone has in their homes  laugh.gif
Very effective~
And yeah, blowing from the side (depending on the position of your laptop vents). Its best not to blow directly into the vents I think laugh.gif

Hahaha ok...shall try that then...

Buy aircon then brows.gif

Alright, enough jokes. Open up your notebook and clean the fans and vents, then reapply thermal paste nod.gif

You can search for guides on how to open that particular model... it should be available since the 5750g was pretty popular during that time nod.gif
But you have to be extra careful when opening it and cleaning the insides, pretty risky for inexperienced ppl like you and me sad.gif

Minor static electricity could potentially fry the delicate electronic components inside your laptop. Worst part is if anything do get fried, it is not easy for non-professional technician like us to find which one is "goreng".
So yes, anti-static. Keep all the screws properly. And be ever so gentle tongue.gif

Your N53 has been with you for 2 - 3 years?
Have you ever clean the dust off the (inlet / outlet) vent / internal fan of the laptop?
If not, most likely it is already clog with dust. No matter how hard your cooling pad blow, it just will not reach the heating components that need the cooling air.
Either you do the cleaning yourself, or if you don't know how / scare to proceed, get a technician to help you to clean and reapply thermal paste. Labour cost should be cheap smile.gif

Pretty much the CM U3 nod.gif
After trying out a few cooler pads, I guess in the end they only help that much laugh.gif
Get a standing fan to blow at your notebook, its way more efficient

What cooler pad does is just increase the air flow to your laptop heatsink. Nothing fancy.
What is the most common thing you use to increase air flow: FAN in your house laugh.gif
