QUOTE(verdangilte @ Sep 2 2012, 09:57 AM) ya...i did ask for help from them..but they need charge me minimum RM 50... the step by step teardown ? this one consider ? http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-revie...s-lounge-8.htmlThat one doesn't seem like a step-by-step guide If you're not sure about what you're doing, better ask for help rather than taking the risk of doing it yourself?

You should clean the fans though, most of the time its really clogged up after 1 year

Not sure how to do it on your laptop, but you need to first access the fan, there should be quite a lot of dust clogging the metal exhaust, remove them... as for the dust on the fan blades, you can try removing them using a vacuum cleaner or compressed air

Cleaning the fan blades won't help if the exhaust is completely clogged and blocked by dust (just like in mine )

QUOTE(ketchum92 @ Sep 6 2012, 01:34 PM) recommend a good cooler for asus n82jq,very hot.during gameplay 94+c,idle 80+c There are not a lot of vents at the bottom of the N82Jq iinm... just get any cooler pad that will tilt the back portion of the laptop up, then use a normal standing fan to cool the laptop (blowing from the side), its more effective that way You might wanna consider cleaning the internal fans and heat sinks, perhaps reapply thermal paste as well when you have the time since the N82jq is probably around 1-2 years old already

I have a pretty decent Coolermaster cooling pad which is made of steel, served me pretty well over the years..
Sadly, one of the fan's blade has broke..out of the many blade just one though. I'm just wondering is it possible to purchase fans and DIY it to the cooler?

Individual fans are available for CM Notepal U series @RM19-20 each Of course you can get larger fans and put them in yourself too, do refer to earlier posts within this thread, there were some modded versions of the Notepal U series cooler pads

what the normal average temp for laptop??? on idle my laptop got 50-60C at night, and 60-70C on a daylight.. on gaming max is 93C on both cpu and GPU... i already clean up the fan, change the thermal paste, i even reapply the thermal 3 times in this month.... should i mod my laptop like this?? http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/60877...tml#post7882947- the copper needle, is it really effective to use that thing?? - and for the cut an opening on the fan, is it practical to do that?
