Yeah for that price, but the reliability for disc based hdd is questionable, ssd is very rugged as there's no moving parts. And look at the spec of the momentus XT it's only 4GB flash, and performance wise suppose to be 80% according to seagate. If their technology is really that efficient then really worth to consider.

Then later will collect money or will ask us to bank in i suppose. My usual forwarder will bill us later once they kautim the customs. I think tek got more info as he passed his 1st.

Mebe tomorrow morning I might drop by sepang, not sure what time they will open if they run 24 hours then morning 6am i will be there to collect.

Sadly the M15X still no progress, I duno wuts holding up the item from being shipped, I edi done verifications and stuff. Tot the M15x might arrive sooner I guess usps beats fedex now.

EvilDevil . . I would not advice you to head to Pos Malaysia Sepang without a call from them. If they haven't called you up, it prolly means your item has not been processed by them yet. Once it's processed, and they have a reference number, they will call you. Just telling you this so you don't waste your time and petrol driving to Sepang. And since you have that status . . they will call you soon if Customs tahan your laptop . . if not . .then I guess you will receive it by Pos.

USPS only delivers it until Sepang. you will have to understand that USPS stands for United States Postal Service, and thus they do not have door-to-door delivery worldwide heh

You only need to bring/remember your reference number and identification. Also bring at least RM18 for the customs form

So, is it better to take USPS or take UPS? I'm currently located in Ipoh, and might not have the means to travel down to the customs to clear my item. =/

If yours somehow got lucky and that huge box slipped pass customs, then most probably Pos Malaysia will send it to your address.

Just back from Sepang Pos Office Customs, had to pay RM 18 coz the price is above RM 2000 for them to value the item. I had to open it in front of them to show them it's a laptop. Everyone was looking coz it's damn big. I told them Alienware M17X is even bigger.

Took around 2 hours to return. Now turning on the babe and checking setting up the os. Thanks tek for info bout the customs, it's slightly troublesome compared to goin to port klang customs for shipping pallets or container. But less sleazy agents around, maybe it's timing as usually at Port Klang customs u can spot those sleazy people everywhere trying to earn quick bucks by tellin us they can handle our cargo and with lower rates.

Well just done 3dMark06 got around 12.5k and vantage 8k+ abit. Temps r all below 60 in air con room. GPU got around 70 I think I didn't really log the temps with gpuz. The quality of the product is really good, imagine it went thru the whole throwing, dumping and stuff. The packaging came in double box, the outside is quite ok not much damage internal looks like new fully sealed.

Not sure wut u guys wanna know bout the laptop, sound is very impressive, same or better than the Acer 6920G i used to own and compare to Dell XPS Studio 16 it's almost same or better. Coz didn't put the Studio XPS 16 and G73Jh side by side compare yet.

Any questions I will try to answer but too bad stocks are limited now, but I think some other sites start to have them instock. If can get the price below 6k include shipping it's really worth it, I am assuming local will be selling it for more than 7999 as their G51J also asking for that price with a discount of around rm 500 totalling for RM 7499 for a I7, 260GTX is not really worth it mebe unless it's an Alienware.

Gratz bro, so it means that either u need to pick up from customs or they will deliver to u. Try to check after 5 hours see if there's progress if there's none means the item is held at customs edi.

I have no idea how the system works here. My notebook has arrived at Frankfurt which is quite far from my city at Essen. Thus, I have no idea how and when it will be delivered to here.

I see, hope u dun get taxed and will be getting ur laptop soon.

Btw, did everyone get the same mouse ? Mine comes with Asus ROG mouse same as the pics in Asus website. While others I see they get the Razer actually doesn't matter to me coz i'm using my logitech wireless. Also at the bios there's a setting can set to turbo mode, from 133 to 142 i think. Small overclock

My Asus G73Jh currently is at the local customs office. Thus, I might to get myself to there on this coming Monday to claim it. Argh . . . troublesome . . . Hopefully I can get it on this Monday. Itchy hands . . .
