If I'm not mistaken, the limit is 2500 EURO. Ken Lee will guide you on how to do the transactions. Don't worry. brows.gif

Hi,

I have been reading this thread and Alienware thread and I decided to get this laptop.
I have contacted Ken Lee from Gentechpc. Hope everything fine. Anybody using paypal to pay because it's easier for me compared to TT?

You can use Paypal but you will not get the cash back discount. Furthermore I find Paypal charges rather dodgy. I have a dispute with them now as I paid Ken for my extended warranty through Paypal and the charged my card twice with some bogus charges, RM 3.20 X 2 = RM 6.40 mad.gif

It's really up to you but I would rather do a wire transfer and get some discount wink.gif

Hi,

Jeffrey1987 u stay in UK? Currently I'm studying in UK so its kinda easier using paypal.
Gentechpc accept paypal from UK right?
Its a huge amount of money, and I can get my money back if problem arise via paypal.  sad.gif

This laptop going to burn all my saving. sweat.gif

Do be aware that if you're shipping the laptop to the UK, you'll be taxed. And it's quite a substantial amount I heard.

Congratulations Bro thumbup.gif rclxm9.gif I'm excited for you. Don't worry about the unboxing pictures, you're going to need time to set that beast up. I'm still testing it and ironing out the bugs. First order of business, if you enable bass boost under the creative software, enable CMSS-3D so your system doesn't lock up. You don't have to mess with the CMSS-3D settings but make sure it is enable or you will lock the system up. Try it, turn on Bass Boost then go into control panel > Ease Of Use > Ease Of Use and if CMSS-3D is not enabled the system will hard lock. I'm down to updating express gate, the latest p4g hybrid and the ATI 10.6 reference drivers. I will post my pictures after that biggrin.gif

Anyway, i just notice that some ppl are stating there's probability G53 will be slightly cheaper compare to G73JH. But there's not confirmed source regarding the pricing nor the actual spec.

I heard that the G53 will be equipped with GTX460 if I'm not mistaken. The advantage of using this GPU is less heat emission than 5870. In terms of pricing, I have no idea. So you have any link regarding on this?

I only saw somebody's comment in youtube about g53 pricing around 1250 euro$. But i'm not sure if i could trust them. August is next month so... we'll might as well wait for the surprise from Asus.

Check Asus Taiwan has no update on it yet. doh.gif

OIC. However, the price of N73JQ is quoted around 1355 USD. So, is it possible that G53 will be cheaper than that? hmm.gif Anyway, wait and see how Asus will set the price. Hopefully, it will be another great gaming machine from them again. thumbup.gif

Nevermind, i pretty sure the Entire G53 will be very expensive if Asus Include the 3d vision glass. U can refer to how much G51-3D in gentechpc and compare with g73 already.
