I will be going alone too!
Unfortunately, my trip is on 1 july.
My dad strongly object me to go!
Hopefully u can share ur experience and situation thr with me after your trip...
July 1 still 2 months more ... should be much stable by then.

I will be there on 04.06.2010 --> 07.06.2010 ~~ current planned itinerary like below (very free and easy, don't want to pack too much places)

Day 1 - - afternoon arrive - around Sukhumvit malls (if there are still operating) / Sum Luan night market if can make it (plan to stay in Sukhumvit area)
Day 2 - Jatucha, Platinum mall area
Day 3 - Chinatown, maybe Khoa San
Day 4 - nearby hotel jalan jalan - afternoon depart

Heading back to KL tomorrow. Been here for the last 3 weeks and staying like 3 mins away from the rally sites. BKK is back to normal now. And the only big mall that got burnt and is inaccessible is centralworld. Other malls are fine. Other stuff that got burnt were small shops and some banks.

Nothing to worry bout really.
