Anyone knows how much budget is enough if i just wanna go shopping with my girlfriend? We're going to the cheaper areas like chatuchak, pratunam, and mbk mall. Is RM1k enough?

How many days and night should the food last, does that include a romantic candle light dinner cruise on river or night club?

In that case, should be enough but no REAL designer and REAL branded stuff unless your gf shopping kaki.
Better also NO precious-stone/pearl/gold tours!

1. Thai news is reporting that train open to public during test runs starting June 1 to Aug 2010 from BKK to Phayathai
2. Yes. 1 pax in front and 3 in rear. However NGV tanks in the trunk of taxi restrict luggage space so make sure you take this into consideration.

If airport link opens tomorrow as announced for test runs, then you take BKK->Phayathai. Your Pratunam hotel will probably be between this BTS station and Ratchathewi station (the next station). If you are cabbing it, then probably 200B-250B + 50B airport surcharge + tolls (around 70B)

1. Yes. Maybe less, maybe more (traffic) but roughly thereabouts.
2. June 1-Aug 2010 (TIT so it means dates mean nothing) = trial period = free. However trial = not sure how long and how often trains run.
Phayathai is the terminus of the airlink.
3. Airport tax already included in airfare. Started 5 years ago; before, they collected 500B at exit.
