QUOTE(Banzai_san @ Feb 22 2010, 03:16 AM) since your camera is the same as mine (ie A550), I'd would try the DRO +3 or more... but Im not sure if this will work or if that is the proper way to go in low light condition on A550 DRO Lv.4 and Lv.5 wasn't so recommended because on the DRO level 4 and level 5 will increase much more noise and also color distortion maybe some more experienced guys/gals can comment... ? So in lowlight was good to stay the DRO Lv. on level 1 to level 3 as level 4 and 5 will increase more noise |

woah...imma a slowpoke.
new alphas has already kick'd in. why the smaller(not mini alphas) one looks so 'plain/empty'... AVCHD...sony's favourite! One of the most troublesome format to be edited apart from H264. |

QUOTE(lwliam @ Feb 22 2010, 10:41 AM) See first how much does it cost for the 7xx replacement @tmj : i think most of the questions you ask is inside the manual. While you wait everybody else answer why not read it up? Its better that way imho. This post has been edited by Uzumaki NaruTo: Feb 22 2010, 10:49 AM |

BIG pentaprism = CLEAR view LOL 4. u also know how to say no focus point, then how can it take picture? the camera is not as smart as a human, it needs contrast edges to lock focus. if all else fail, use manual focus This post has been edited by lwliam: Feb 22 2010, 10:57 AM |

QUOTE(tmj @ Feb 22 2010, 11:04 AM) for the no.2 When you put your cam in M mode, the dial will set the aperture when you turn it. To set the shutter speed, you would need to press the AEL button and turn the dial (IINM - my a100 setting is like this. Dunno about the a380 though).how to set both setting in a time? i only see can row the front botton by set 1 setting only neh =/ aperture and shutter speed how to set it both in the same time? =.=" the camera is on my gf there, she always use P or auto only Added on February 22, 2010, 11:05 amsometimes i put something small infront of the table but the camera cant even focus it... need to pull the camera far abit only can focus... and the sky aso cant focus... As for focussing you need to remember 1. All lenses have a MFD - minimum focussing distance. If object is too close to the lens, then it can't focus. You have to move back. 2. If there's not enough contrast on the object (e.g. blank wall or cloudless sky) then the AF would not be able to lock focus. You will need to use manual focus. |

QUOTE(tmj @ Feb 22 2010, 11:04 AM) for the no.2 dude u really need to go thru ur manual again..it might b bored to read thru the whole book...but since u having issue with Av Pv M modes..just read the particular sections..it shd b easy enough to understand..at least the question in bold should be easily found in manual mode section..how to set both setting in a time? i only see can row the front botton by set 1 setting only neh =/ aperture and shutter speed how to set it both in the same time? =.=" the camera is on my gf there, she always use P or auto only Added on February 22, 2010, 11:05 amsometimes i put something small infront of the table but the camera cant even focus it... need to pull the camera far abit only can focus... and the sky aso cant focus... for ur 2nd question..try what guoki said...try to understand the exposure triangle(iso/aperture/shutter speed)...the near/far issue was due to MFD..every lens has it own minimum distance to focus..if u wanna go nearer than that(without buying new lens)..u can try close up filter/raynox.....cant focus on sky??well..thats user issue p/s : btw..u can stil shoot if ur camera not focused..go to menu..change the priority to "release"..instead of "AF" This post has been edited by achew: Feb 22 2010, 11:39 AM |
