Ok for once, I kinda feel the urge for low light lens. Should I sell my CZ for a Tamron 17-50 f2.8 or Sigma 18-50 f2.8? :s

No!f2.8 is still wont be enough for low light.
You need a f1.4 or use flash.

i feel that the a100 falls short on higher ISO. as well as advanced tech like auto-HDR,larger megapixels, smile shutter and stuff. however, i do feel honestly, the a100 feels more solid on hand compared to the a550.

watermark was done in cs4 sometimes ago....the pattern at the bottom was from a brush..

as for the reflection..orig was very very faint..so i make it slightly more obvious digitally..

a700 got better body(quality and control) and handling , bigger VF....
for picture quality i dint do any comparison but a550 high ISO have slightly better performance...
for low ISO i think they are almost on par...
