Yea, don't really need to OC and all those stuff. I think it should last you for 2-3 years, unless you're gonna test out graphically intense games, but if you're just another casual gamer like I am, i think it should be okay.
despite alot of negativity surrounding M15x and core i7, i'm very satisfied with mine. No worries mate, you're on good hands here!

for me, im not that expert.. but since im free i try to tackle ur question
to me, NO NEED OC with m15x. m15x proc is more than enuf for gaming and all those usage. its super good. core i7 man, cmon no play play.

gaming depends on ur graphics mostly.,

starcraft 2 and diablo 3 IS MORE THAN Enough . im sure u can set max settings to ur m15x and play nicely. both these games are targeted to mostly med end computers. not target to high end computers as what crysis company did.

and u max ur specs for m15x, im sure can last a good 3 years. that is for me la. for me will really last. the specs are very good already.
but m11x, i think can last for 1 to 1.5 years only. later games sure cannot be played on high settings with this machine.

and bear in mind, games mostly depends on graphics, don have to oc ur proc if not really good at it.. don take the risk

even if ur hardcore gamer, m15x can handle with no problem for your needs.
what do you expect from a laptop? if u can find a better 15 inch laptop than m15x, list it here
i believe EVEN if there is any, ur laptop will catch fire and burn you and the house after 30 minutes of gaming, "Well jz kidding aint that crazy.. jz probably you'l get a burnt gpu or cpu and ur comp become BSOD"

haha.. seriously man, u realy need to take cooling system into the biggest consideration when u wanna buy a gaming lappy.

refering fr page 1, i believe it is stated by findingScreemo that u are able to get 4%-5% discount if u call them...
call them to buy or call them to negotiate,I'm not so sure...

i tink the M11x can change the keyboard color..juz that the alienhead at the cover is fixed at white color...according to stringfellow...

Not sure bout M11x tho bout the color changing, but M15x, u definitely can do it.
My advice, get the base model with 1gb Gtx 260m, and 500gb, that should be good enough. GTX 240m, waste of money.
Just don't put any objects at the back of the M15x when you're running it at full steam as it will obstruct the hot air from coming out. I'm not using any cooler pads, so far so good!

U should upgrade the screen, graphic card to gtx260, and also warranty to 3 years..
