i connect directly from my wireless modem to my ps3 via Ethernet cable and i still get NAT 2 isnt it suppose to be nat 1. iam puzzled

Need help here. I am trying to make my speakers (Edifier C3) work with my PS3 which is hooked onto the HD Monitor. I have the splitter Y-cable and have connected everything properly but there is no sound. Can you guys help me?

u need to change setting on ur ps3.
check on audio setting and put on av multi out not hdmi on.
after that u should be hearing click2 sound on ur speaker

If you're getting NAT2, that means there are still some filtering going on in your modem, probably it has some router functionality.

Kinda silly question but I have an R3 PS3 game, i can use the Malaysian PSN to buy the DLC right? and also, can I play the Malaysian bought DLC using my US account? meaning can I use R3 DLC in R1 server? Thanks

The game software (Blu-ray disc) region and the DLC region must match, for the case of region locks.

E.g. I bought an R3 Uncharted 2. So, I must buy it from R3 stores (Malaysia, Singapore, HK, etc.). But playing it with whichever account doesn't matter.

Hey guys ! Just a quick question here . I play my ps3 with a 32inch tv . No problem with that but some games are not full
screen . I get black borders above the game screen and also below it , I tried setting the video output in the system settings but still no luck . Current resolution is 576i .

Someone told me that I can disable a thing called force output but still can't find it .
