I just checked Sony shop at Mid Valley. If you want to buy the 1299 PS3, you HAVE TO buy a game at the same time??? did they have this requirement last time?

I went there a few weeks ago. I wanted to buy a PS3, no stock same with The Gardens Branch, and they told me until end of April got stock. So when you wanted to buy did they renew their stock? Also Those people there blur blur one. Eg. They are selling the God Of War 3 there for RM200+ I think. Then I ask them how come your price different from your website? Then they corrected the price. Not sure if the price change or not. So different shop say different things. To answer your question no coz I only wanted to buy the console itself. I think this is some stupid policy they made up to force you to buy a game at the same time.

i have a question.. can i play mp4 video files with subtitle without hardcode ? the srt is same name with the mp4 file..

if u using media server i think can...
but directly play from thumb or external hdd plug to ps3 i think not possible the subs will apper..

Mid Valley guys make u buy the game together. And this is stated in the latest Sony mag (22 Apr - 31 July). So, I guess they will be enforcing this rule very soon...unless they get big complaints from customers.

I got my official Malaysian PS3 from Bernard, no stupid rule applied.

i iam having a little problem with my blue tooth head set, it seems recently when i switch it on it doesn't display on screen that the Headset is on or in use. so at this point i dont know whether its working or whether the enough battry life. how do i fix this

hi.. err, i got a question about connection/modem.

im now using the standard telekom modem.. the blue 1 named billlon.

so, if i get a new, better & branded modem like belkin or linksys will i have better connection? i mean faster or at least lesser lag issue?

ok, i can play .mp4 movies, but the audio is horrible..
the video is fine but the audio is stuck2...

you can make it full screen, however, this will crop the video...


I wonder why.. u can stretch 4:3 into 16:9 by stretching left and right to make it full screen, why cant they stretch 2.40:1 content up and bottom to make it full screen?

those lcd tvs have function for zooming, hence no black bar

dont think lcd monitor have those function tho
