But certain games would require to have a certain firmware to play.

So update anyways.

Here's another view of the DS3 .. The arrow button the one on the left doesnt seem to really fit in place .
I can still like readjust its position .. is it suppose to be like that ? or suppose to be tight fitting and not movable ?

Did you put a cap ontop of your analog sticks?
The D-pad is supposed to be loose, if its perfectly tight and isn't moving then it is a confirmed faked or a problem with the plastic that holds the D-pad.

As you can see, even by lighting up all 4 LEDs, the light shouldn't penetrate the casing shell of the controller.

Ya ya , i put it on the joystick lol it came with the triggers the seller include wit the PS3 . . Yeah , urs never penetrate through lo .. Sigh , how come mine is different ? What model is urs ? Mine is CECHZC2H.

CECHC2J.

The last letter depicts the region of the controller.
But that doesn't really matter as all DS3s, no matter sold in which region are made in China.

i got it in JB.
personally dont think is a fake la...
if really a fake...then the imitation is too good already sia..
being said tat, this is my 1st ps3, i dont have good idea about how original an original accessory is also~

Hmm , i got it from a seller in PJ . hehehe .. No la not to say its fake , but make me feel very uncomfortable for it to be so different , i rather have one that the light does not penetrate through sad.gif !! i mean we paid the price for it too ma , we deserve a good one ! biggrin.gif

Well I wouldn't confirm them to be fake either.

Maybe Sony changed the plastic to a more translucent shell (opaque shells costs a little more to do actually)?
They did the same thing for the SIXAXIS controller too.

So... really, without opening it up its hard to tell.

strange u guys stated its "CECHZC2H" white controller... most ppl complaining that its the one that sold in ebay... those imitation ones

stated in Sony Playstation website, CECHZC2H is black controller while CECHZC2HCW is the white controller

mine is CECHZC2J same as ben's one...

or maybe the plastic material they've used is different hmm.gif
