My DS3 white , the led when it is turn on i can see the red light penetrate through the 'S' of SONY . means i can actually see red light
coming out of there . I see the video it says the light isnt suppose to go through one .. Is it genuine ? Can others that have white DS3 clarify this ?

Custom - Hmmm...so far has been lucky for me for passed few trips.

and besides that , my ps3 sometimes make a " ke-tak " sound .
I heard it 3 times already , its not even a week old . is there something
wrong ? But gameplay wise , still okay dun feel like got any problem , but sometimes can lag abit =.= !

crackin' sound is normal for slim.i think bcoz it cooling down.

Since i'm new , din even know that ps3 makes cracking sound . Freaked me out when i heard it but i thought it was my ears at first .. Till i heard it again =.= !!
anyway , that's the controller I have , is it suppose to be like that ? Though it is not causing any problem , and also respond pretty well to my moves , i'm just very
concern to the originality . Please clarify ! Thanks .

Its the sound of the motherboard and the plastic shrinking and expanding itself after turning it off as it is pretty hot.
Its normal, many electronics does it. Listen to your laptop or desktop, it'll do the same thing.

As for the controller, no its not supposed to be like that.
My DS3 is white and the LED light doesn't protude like yours.
The shell should be solid white and the LED shouldn't be strong enough to penetrate it.

I wouldn't confirm your DS3 as fake yet, you have to double check some other stuff like the screws and the button quality.

guys...my PS3 detect a new firmware available..ver 3.5..anyone tried?

i was playing Demon's soul online just now when i got disconnected.
It says i need to update to 3.50 firmware to continue playing online.
Tried downloading just now but it stayed at 0%.
probably too many ppl downloading right now...
guess i have to wait...

mine already at 15% but it's seems slower than previous firmware that i download

Here's another view of the DS3 .. The arrow button the one on the left doesnt seem to really fit in place .
I can still like readjust its position .. is it suppose to be like that ? or suppose to be tight fitting and not movable ?

My situation is like him . The led when for number 1 is on , u can actually see number 2 slightly lid on too because the light apparently went to the number 2 slot and we can see a dim red light . I think i'm gonna ask my seller bout this . And the model number is also the same wit the one in the video .

Does anyone have any experience with the PS3 Proxy thing so that you can download PSN stuff faster? I can do all the downloads n stuff but when i try to resume the download from the file i downloaded to the PC, it doesn't work. Anyone with any ideas how to solve this?
