nope. I believe restore using hdd data transfer doesn't count restoring psn id, even so you need to repair first your faulty console to use this method

if you bought any DLCs by your own or share with your friend, then you need to deactivate first. Do keep in mind that max per-use and share for one psn id is 5

correct me if I'm wrong but data transfer and restore is basically 2 diff options, right? when I swapped my new hdd in, I used restore and everything, including psn id will be there.
and miraculously, I was able 2 get in my PS3 yesterday and successfully perform backup smile.gif

and no, my PS3 is basically very "empty". dun hv any DLC wan tongue.gif
anyway, thx again biggrin.gif

sorry I read your post wrongly, restore option doesn't help cause once you swapped with new ps3, it will automatically delete everything saved inside hdd

that's the thing bad about ps3 data security

this is what the nat mean...

Nat 1 is a connection straight to internet using modem
Nat 2 is a connection through a router.
Nat 3 means there is something wrong with your connection. YOu have limited connectivity.

not Nat 2 is connected through wifi....

you can get NAT 2 with wifi

hope that the router won't block certain ports (hence you get NAT 3)
