Sorry for disturbing but i have a question is updating the firmware faster when you use your usb or same as updating with your ps3?

Im so worried now because my PS3 is the phat version plus i bought my PS3 from Singapore(not from sony but a local shop there) cry.gif cry.gif

Is it true if something wrong with my PS3 then i send it back to the shop to repair my psn id will be deactivate?
