create a folder in ur thumbdrive.

x:\PS3\UPDATE

put ur firmware into the update folder.

on ur ps3, plug ur thumbdrive in n go to the 2nd most left option. the 1st tab u can update ur firmware via usb storage.

get the CECH-2106A because it is using 40nm(produce lesser heat) RSX instead of 65nm on older models as u stated.

difference in the packages

ps3 slim is the just the console

ps3 move = console, ds3 joypad, move controller, pseye camera and a sports game = higher price

ps3 atm available in 120gb and 250gb... soon we'll see 500gb ones too (sony like to release new SKUs)

anyway ps3 hdd can be upgraded up to 640/750gb notebook sata hdd (we might see 1tb soon)

u mean full-install game into hdd? so far only partial install (disc required) and the only full-installed games on hdd are psn games downloaded from psn store.

i just bought new ps3 slim 250gb MY set.... its worth it.

considering that i used to have the old phat ps3 60gb

i think the 160gb will replaced the 120gb ones... at same price i think and you can choose either black/white

japan always release 1st... SG ones i dont know when Sony decide (i think they will release)

well you could get now black ps3 slim 120/250gb model 2106... available MY or SG set

warranty u must take into account... prefer get MY set...

its all abt claiming warranty... let say u buy MY set, just send to SONY MY service center

if SG set, u have to bare all expenses to SG

if you can't pay rm1299 for a new ps3, better you go and buy second hand one, dood.
