ok when the 1.6 is NOT a racing engine like Civic which can go up above 7k ours is max is 6.5k so on track its going to show up being low power compared to engines with higher rev range. but going up Genting is not a problem actually its quite fast liau. in town u can whack all corners in 2nd gear alone cause it can go from 1.5k - 6k without changing up or down in manual mode.

we are b****ing cause most of us actually wanted 2.0 so 1.6 is kinda underpowered if compared to 2.0.

FYI this 1.6 can do 0-100 under 11s can touch 10s with some lite mods.

lancer 2.0 is 1300-1400kg so is forte 2.0.

Got someone in this forum test drove the 2.0 already..maybe that 'someone' can states his own experience details about the 2.0 Forte. as of now, no 2.0 buyers get their cars yet

But if u wish to save your money for other things & yet want to buy the best specs & value for money new 2.0L car, i must say that Forte is the best

Is yours 2.0 or 1.6?

Yup, it's true. Currently they are in the midst of finalising the decision whether to gv the Singapore design or NZ Galaxy design. For SX owner, U may want to contact ur SA bcoz if thr's a EX buyer who dun want the bodykit, u can nego with ur SA to get it at no cost!!

The only confirm words from Branch Manager's (HQ) mouth is that, 2.0 buyers can get their car latest by the end of this month (at least for the earliest 2.0 bookers). & if everything is going well, by end of next week or the week after, the car should be on the road already. Since that the cars (2.0) already in their showroom & he (branch manager) also sounds confident about his words, so i presume it should be true. so 2.0 bookers..we have less than 3 weeks before getting our cars. let us hope & pray that the car can be delivered ASAP within this month without any further delay or obstacles.

Do you guys found out the door handle of forte is easy to get scratch? I just noticed there are some scratches on my 2 days old forte.. :,(

The handle is chrome and no steel i guess, sure it's prone to scratches.

Every second oso thinking of my 2.0. Hope next friday can collect hehehe.
