I think forte is one of the car (that I can afford obviously) that I really like. Now contemplating between 407 or this.
Any poison from forte's fan?

any1 drove 2.0L here oredi?
forte is heavy than many 1.6L cars in the road hence slow pickup
but better than spectra5 pick up
The Forte is a heavy car. Don't expect go-kart handling even with the 2.0... Despite it's sporty exterior the Forte sedan is tuned more for comfort and relaxed driving. It won't take corners like a sports car but it's able to navigate turns with relative ease. If you've driven the current gen Civic before you'll get an idea of how the Forte will feel on the roads... just slightly less responsive I must say. forte is heavy than many 1.6L cars in the road hence slow pickup

Don't worry too much about acceleration. If urban driving is the majority of your travels, you'll seldom get to enjoy kidney-crushing cars anyway; in fact comfort should be your number 1 consideration. If you're really feeling the need to rush, use shift-tronic and step on the gas. Push hard by shifting late in 2nd gear to overcome the torque dip, and chances are you'll be needing to brake early to avoid kissing the butt of the car in front of you.
