Going to be upcoming 15K Mileage Service soon .. Was wondering what will be the cost this time around. Will there be any other additional cost for those -unknown- hardware installed in my car ..

Just now I went to the SC to find the source of the noise. It turned out to be the fan. They said previous models got 2 fans, 1 for radiator, 1 for aircon. Now there's only 1 fan for both. It spins harder so its louder, and they said this noise is normal for BLM. Wah, to me it sounds like a bad alternator. Oh well...

wow..cut cost. but i dun understand, older model u mean saga lmst? or older batch of saga blm..

well, you can add soundproofing later

I got another SA offering me RM400 discount, so which one is more worth it?

I know those vouchers are useless, that is why I'm leaning towards the RM400 discount, please advice bro

He meant Wira and Saga/Iswara models, not blm. Ya I'll definitely do soundproofing.


You're lucky. My SA gave me only

1. RM200 discount for tinting
2. A steering lock worth RM30 at Tesco
3. Full tank petrol

He gave me the standard service vouchers. No smart tag.

And this is a platinum class showroom some more.

how lucky u guys.... last week my SA told me that now proton change the system d since last week.. he explain to me that all proton cars ( export or sell to local ) now standardize inspec or check in shah alam d... last time is export check in port klang and local sell in shah alam ( or vise versa i forgot ). he added alot of keys lost and dunno which 1 is my car haha i can feel that my car is crying

Simply because radiators for BLM (Both engine and aircon) are ALOT wider and taller than Wira/Iswara radiator, thats why BLM don't need so many fans, just open the bonnet and compare u will know the difference.

I wish they designed a fan that's not so noisy. More noise means more friction, and probably faster breakdown rate (touch wood).

I hope you get your car soon. Have they got the road tax for it yet?

Maybe yr blm got waiting list leh (let me guess, SE auto?) Mine was M-line manual. SA said got stock, no waiting list, immediate delivery. The 'immediate' stretched to 2 weeks becoz of those problems.

Beside can do soundproof on firewall or the noise cant be solve. I wish can do the sound proof too.

Maybe when you buying your car that time, Saga sales there was good so they do not need to give much discount la. I asked the fella, he says for every Saga they sell, they can get about 600-800 bucks commission, Persona and Exora can get over rm1200, thats why he kept pushing me to Persona at first.

Then I told him I've done my research and know what other people gets offered only he increased his gifts. So maybe thats a trick other forumers can try, but remember don't go overboard la, people still need to feed family

Where got so much commission, as i know its only 100-200 only and discount is a must.
