folks, 2 things to chk with you all

1) I wanna do a voice recording for 1 hour using 5800. is there a features to do so? will it takes up alot of memory space?

2) i need to del message one by one (rather than i pre select few and i del it immediately). is there a way to do so?

For folder music players, which is better? MLauncher or FolderPlay? Or got any alternatives to recommend? Thanks.

my new 4days old 5800xm battery cant last more than 1 day... ..i m using 50% screen brightness....sms a day about 100+ sms...and 1 hr voice calls...no play games...just for sms+calls..else, no touch it at all....the batt still so fast dry...how ah?..normal?

I did check that out previously on dailymobile.se but it only supports fb2 format and pdf docs need to be converted to the format before it's readable. Can't complain much since it's free.

I guess paying for Acrobat LE is the only solution for direct access to pdf docs right now.

1. can, memory not sure but couldn't be that big, menu>applications>recorder

2. in messages go options and select mark all or mark 1 by 1 and delete.

Added on February 9, 2010, 10:41 amnot normal, mine can last at least 1.5 days with lots of calls and some sms and a few GPS usage, your phone might have some bugs like so hidden software running on the background that drain the battery or just that you have got a spoilt battery but i suspect the first to be the problem.

i didnt know the recorder earlier...

anyway, for the messages, i know that i can either select ALL or select 1by1 and del it.

what i'm saying is, i prefer to select few that i want and del it one shot (one of the features available in my SE phones last time)

oh, se can tick and delete while nokia can only mark, mark mark and delete, se will be faster...

dont know wor...i just get it few days ago..so far i only installed some games...no Garmin also..

the lcd is the major contributor.... set it to low for longer batt

at 50% d wor...i using matte screen protector...lower the brightness somemore, i cant read clearly and the 16M color quality of the nice screen will be wasted...lol

just figure this urself lah...

0% - 95mA
25% - 105mA
50% - 120mA
75% - 165mA
100% - 210mA

few games yah, format your memory card and hard reset your phone and i guarantee you can last more than 1.5 days, if cannot that's mean your batt is spoilt.

i'm on 75% brightness and it's giving me 1.5 days....

If you are on v40 firmware did you unlock the phone when you charging, you unlock while connecting to bluetooth handsfree?
screen will continue to light up and drain the battery without your knowledge.

i'm on 75% and can last 1.5 days woh....

25% how to see things woh, it's just like you install aircond in your room and you setting the temperature to 30 degree celcius....

how long the battery can last depend totally on the usage..
with the extra 40mA saving i t will last longer for exp ur 1.5 day will be 2 days...

Select msg -> Options -> Mark -> Mark. After mark all you want, you can delete them all at once.

The Pencil doesn't work correctly in v40, you'll have to select every item manually, but still better and easier to tick items than without.

mine nokia ac-8x its only takes 1 hours to fully charge my phone

when to think about that.isit compatible with my 5800?
