One thing i didn't like about FO3 is how they organized the NPCs, there's just so few of them in each towns and outskirts. I wish there were like more than 30 people in a town you can interact with and having more than 50 people in the town at the same time.
As for army base (ie Enclave), 200+ is preferred. Its friggin' awesome if you can sneak pass them or kill all of them. |

QUOTE(mrhulk @ Feb 11 2010, 09:47 AM) http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=6968 I complete each Fallout 1 & 2 for 4-5 times and find them very good & very close.Magazine scan picture of Fallout : New Vegas. "If it is not broken, dont fix it"...see what happen to Fallout2... Fallout 3 (Oblivion with guns) should not even be considered a Fallout sequel, it's like Hellgate London trying to be a Diablo sequel This post has been edited by EDK: Feb 11 2010, 08:56 PM |

I dunno, FO2 felt like an expansion pack of FO1 rather than a standalone, MOTS. The only thing worthwhile were the random Americanism easter eggs. No use whining here if you didn't like FO3 though.
How many old school FO-ers who complained about FO3 played the jack sparrow version |

The point is FO1 & FO2 is 99% identical in terms of look and feel, game mechanic (most important aspect) and etc etc
But FO3 is a totally different beast. It is a pretty good game, BUT it is not Fallout. It is like you used to order your favourite wantan mee and one day the wantan mee you order became hokkien mee Anyway, i do look forward to FO3: Vegas after knowing Obsidian even went to rework the dialog engine to make it more Fallout™ style |

I am looking forward to Fallout New Vegas either way.
Unless they really screwed up big time, which I doubt so given Obsidian's track record. |

hmmm fallout tactics i rike the graphics, animation and combat.
free full freedom to murder everyone in the game - fallout 1 for uber unarmed combat - fallout 2 nowadays, i dun see any other modern days rpg that can allow you to murder every single npc in the game liao. yes, even children and get a child killer label for it. |

QUOTE(Aggroboy @ Feb 12 2010, 02:39 PM) FO Tactics was funny sometimes, i remember the deathclaw queen would run around in the brotherhood base saying she's on heat rofl I liked FOT: BoS alot actually, lol. Maybe its combat style is kinda good although sometimes its controls are slow to respond at time. With the right tactics anything like 2 behemoths + some shitload of robots coming at you will even turn into scrap metals or you can snipe them at far with 6 full long-range class characters. Too bad it doesn't offer much functionality in dialogs and character interaction. There's even tons of hidden special off-the-shelf items in the game and some special encounters like Pitch Black where you can have riddick sometime after the special encounter. I still remember getting choked by radiation in pitchblack when the guy said stay in the light, the light which is a pile of radiation and at the same time the monsters is a large pack of deathclaws. I still remember buying that Red Devil armor or something (friggin expensive), didn't know the characters couldn't wear it until i found out its a joke referring to diablo. |

Don't poo poo Fallout 3.
It's good for releasing stress until the point when it decides to crash. By then, it'll create unnecessary stress for me. |

Less attention generated , less chances of getting bashed in the face i think ?
They're in sneak mode now, 150% skill that is. |

Currently enjoying Bioshock 2 and probably moving back to Mass Effect 1 before I touch Fallout 3 again. This post has been edited by kianweic: Feb 13 2010, 07:04 PM |

Obsidian Entertainment ? Oh right, they screwed up KoTor 2 big time , but then it was Lucasarts fault causing them to rush and release a crappy game.
I just hope that this game delivers ! |

maybe some of you already know about this, there is a company in Las Vegas named "Van Buren Insurance & Financial Services". When you open up wiki about Fallout (Van Buren), try read the plot and you see Fallout:New Vegas has the similar plot too (2 big faction fight each other near Hoover Dam). I think all the materials from Fallout:Van Bune project has been transfer/reuse to Fallout:New Vegas.
