From my experience with New Vegas, it's got memory leak issues. So, long gaming sessions will cause the game's performance to become worse over time and the only way to really rectify it is to restart your computer.

QUOTE(toothgnasher @ Aug 26 2012, 12:45 AM) Haha, don't care. As long they change the buggy engine to something else, i'm in. On the whole story between FO1/FO2/FOT/FObos/FOVB/FOE/FO3/FONV, there's too many changes and canon and making the whole US Fallout a mess. As for gameplay, nothing to complain except from isometric to buggy FPS. Plus, i'm hoping to see "fallout" based on other countries instead. Like Fallout: Pусские or Fallout : 中国 , lol Also, i wish the current XCOM was renamed fallout, it just reminds me why beth don't do it that way. sob* |

Hi ayam just get this game few days ago. Wanted to wait until got all dlc retail pack.
Got few question lar. 1. How to play custom music? I google got people need to mod then only can play, why so susah one? Cannot we just place music in some folder? 2. I'm at lvl 5 now and wandered into areas that has deathclaw, armored human enemy, scorpion... All my guns are useless. Anywhere I can get a sniper rifle early? 3. Don't know if I'm playing it wrong or what... With low lvl, my best chance is to snipe from afar putting distance as my weapon, but without scoped weapons, it's like playing in miss fest. Even when I score hit, it's like no damage... Is rushing in or stealth approach then vats is the only way? Cause without a good rifle, seems like it to me. Then again, limited ammo makes rushing tactics useless. |

You need to mod the game in order to do that. 2. Fallout is an open world. If you wander into a territory that has enemies you can't beat, just take another route. Sneaking (crouching) works if you stay out of sight. Avoid fighting deathclaws unless you are packing serious heat and traps for fun killing. 3. Low level sniping? Nah, low levels you have to be in your face battles with short range weapons for max damage. Sniper rifles aren't really high damage in this game, actually they are pretty weak other than the ability to scope. If you aren't making a dent on enemy, it means that their DT is higher than your weapon damage output. Meaning you gtfo and make your escape. No point wasting ammo. So always carry a high damage weapon with you even if it has a low DPS. |

A Fallout MMO That You Can Play Very Soon
![]() QUOTE Interplay's Fallout MMO might have been nuked into oblivion by a lengthy legal battle that Bethesda ultimately won, but that doesn't mean all hope for massive scale wasteland shenanigans is lost. FOnline: Ashes of Phoenix is a free fanmade Fallout MMO coming next week, and it certainly looks the part. Ashes of Phoenix is set to release on September 5th, but it's not the only fanmade Fallout MMO on the block. Not by a long shot. It uses the FOnline engine, which also serves as the backend for games like FOnline: Reloaded and FOnline 2. All these games are from different teams, so each one differs in key ways. Ashes of Phoenix, however, is the latest attempt at a good-old fashioned (read: Fallout 1/2 style) homemade MMO. More here: Kotaku |

QUOTE(kianweic @ Aug 30 2014, 07:50 AM) Fallout series has always been a personal game to me. MMO seems like a big "break lore" element. Then again, so is what people say about ME3 but end up loving it. |
