Hmmm , this is something I find it abit weird.. What do you guys think? I7-720QM more expensive or the I5-430M more expensive? LOL

I found out that by upgrading I5-430M to I7-820QM takes only around 1.1 k + in studio 14
While for the rest like studio 15 and xps 16.. upgrading from I7-720QM to I7-820QM cost around 1.2k +

If you see from the I5-520M to I7-820QM.. it cost only around 800+ for the upgrade.
Which concludes I7-720QM is cheaper than the I5-430M and even I5-520M.. Hmmmm... Was thinking of getting I7 instead.. oh well.. shall observe first.

4hours and 41minutes for 87% battery life.... should I enjoice of this number? I'm at A&W Amcorp mall now.... breakfast....

power profile custom from dell, set eveything to really minimum power usage, and also set the max processor power to 50%, brightness at lowest....

not so sure maybe the speaker cone is held in place at the front and the back of the speaker problem. If one of these holders rips or comes unglued it allows the cone to travel too far and the form for the voice coil will bottom out and slam against the magnet causing the speaker to make buzz sounds.

your set still under warranty better let them fix up

I feel like asking them give me a new unit, i had this problem since the day i got my laptop. Really not satisfied lor until today like im using it 3 weeks only.

Try to call Dell again. This time test the new speakers in front of the technician and tell him exactly what's the problem. If problem persists, ask them to change another set rolleyes.gif

Btw, sorry to hear of your speaker problem. At the mean time, use external speakers first smile.gif

Well in the first place, their unit is faulty..not your fault..If they refuse, ask to speak to their manager-there's no way Dell can allow their customers to have a faulty unit

Hi all,

XPS 16 core i5 with ATI HD4670 1G
and Vostro 3700 Core i7 with Geforce GT 330M 1G

The price is same rm4199, which want should i choose.
I like the design of XPS 16, how about the strength, compare Geforce vs ATI.

SXPS 16 still better, unless you really need the quad core...
1080p screen, SXPS 16 wins
GPU, SXPS 16 wins
