most of the head parts are compatible with HBFP .. main gears too
belt u have to get .. tail boom u can cut off trex450 to fit .. blades u prolly have to order or get a king2 blade and VERY CAREFULLY AND PRECISELY cut them yourself ..
the frame is very strong .. near no chance to break unless u have a very very major crash

u crashed the FP already meh ?? its slow but not that hard to fly .. if u are used to the reaction of a CP .. the FP seriously feels SLOW laa .. hahaha
*
Ok... i think the plastic blades suit me...

I have not crash the FP... but soon will take it out to test fly.... so possible of crashing...
Frankly speaking, it's much more slower than the CP... so i have to adjust the Expo to make it respond faster.... hehehe.... maybe used to how CP respond...

oooppss ... sorry about the king2 blades part .. forgot the king2 has symmetrical blades and not suitable for FP which requires pitched blades .. hahahaaha
yaa .. i oso used expo to try and make it respond faster
the motor is powerful enuff for power bailouts if required
chances are u will not crash it but will have a hard time getting used to it only since u are so used to CP ..

I'm now trying to reduce weight on my helicopter. I removed weights from balancing bar. Less stable but battery lasts noticeably longer. Just experimenting. Lol..

I'm using 1s and step up~ and thinking of using the gyro from RX2609.. icon_idea.gif If not will strip the KDS800 that i have.
Too bad i don't have the scale... will try to get a scale too...

Without step up will be quite risky... will see how when all the parts arrive.... i ordered 10 M/F micro JST with a 30" servo extension~ If next time any one of you need to Spek 4G6 or 4#6, i got some connectors to spare with~

I'm also going to mod the skid since the ori skid is too narrow..

Great... seems like you are getting into this hobby... some situation we'll increase the weight to get the heli less sensitive.... but it's all about trying~ icon_idea.gif

I am deeply into this hobby. I'm flying everyday and I bring my heli to college to fly around. I also fly my friend's small RC aeroplane.

Lol. A small EP plane. Very simple and small. No brand or model named. I guess we'll just assume it as toy.

I even tried flying the heli without the fuselage. Very light, take off easily, motor sound also quieter. But very hard to control. The back is now heavier than the front. laugh.gif

Can show some pic of the plane?

I think you should get a better heli since you are so into this hobby~

There's some better heli out there will cost about RM500++ RTF... Maybe you can source around... Maybe you can look for FP too..

Ya. Next time I'll try to get a pic.

I have stripped down those little tail 'decoration', which I don't think is useful. The helicopter doesn't fall back too much but is extremely light and fast. Very fun to speed around (and risking bumping into something).

But my mom said I made the helicopter ugly by stripping it down. laugh.gif

2609 rx everything built-in one worr ... u have to know exactly what u are doing to separate the gyro part
but since u like tinkering around .. can try try la .. worse case bye by rx2609 and all separates lorr since u already have all the components .. hehehe
but i doubt the kds will be much better than the 2609 gyro laa ... the 2609 gyro supposedly quite good liau

There's some thread out there is using 2609 as gyro... The RX2609 have 2 saperate board, 1 is the rx itself another is the gyro... Some the speck it and change to a more powerful motor and found the 2609 is not good in holding the tail... anyway... i'll just try then... laugh.gif icon_rolleyes.gif
