tamiya will do nicely .. but too expensive for me
i used the normal paint from hardware shop ... but the FLUORO type one la so it will be bright
however the SOFT STOCK canopy does not help and will cause the paint to crack when u remove and install the canopy everytime
*
Thanks for the advise... that's my concern regarding cracking paint....
Most probably i'll go for PVC sticker... Megastation is selling... not expensive too... will look around my area first...

Small heli will be sensitive... just like an eagle can fly more stable than a sparrow... but a sparrow can turn in tight angle but an eagle can't...
So everything have pros and cons...
but the small size heli can survive some minor crash without any damage which bigger size heli won't because of small momentum.... laugh.gif
I have done quite a number of hard landing on my 4G6 and it survived... if i did the same to the 450... that means, bye bye: blades, main shaft, fly bar, main rotor housing, etc..... sweat.gif
Last week i did a hard landing on the Xeon FP and the crash report is: banded main shaft, fly bar and almost gone blade.... doh.gif

that is not a HARD LANDING la ... that one very severe crash already ... hahahaha

Added on February 1, 2010, 11:22 pmpps ... those stickers megashop selling are not FLUORO altho it might seem fluoro .. i used them on my planes and the results are nowhere as good as the orange paint i am using ... but of coz orange is a super striking colour laa tongue.gif

*
Consider hard landing la... it drop and then terbalik lo... tongue.gif hahaha.. laugh.gif blade also fly out... after i did some expo... then it become easier to control...

Ok... thanks for your info... thumbup.gif seems like left me no alternative..... Do you know whether the T250 canopy can fit on FP? unsure.gif

T250 canopy cannot fit coz too small ...
your alternatives are the honeybee or BCP canopies

Added on February 2, 2010, 12:19 am

but b4 u learn to walk u must learn to stand ... the stand part is where u get all your basics right ... what u need to know and stuff b4 u even get the heli into the air
i did not mean u crash as in crash once or twice ... i mean if u dont get your basics right u will be crashing so much that cry oso no tears come out .. tongue.gif
*
TOo bad that it won't fit... i do have BCP canopy.. it is slightly bigger too... look like big head.... it's alright... i'll look around then... worse will just put some pvc stickers on....
Thanks ya....

Don't have king2 canopy... doesn't matter... those are just like "clothes"... most important is the main structure itself... icon_rolleyes.gif

I have no regrets of getting a 4g6... it let me practice more in the house during night time..... icon_idea.gif rclxms.gif
it suits me well and i've worked out on how to programme the 2602 Tx.... now it flies great and suit my control style.... thumbup.gif
Damage resistant too.. sweat.gif rolleyes.gif Ps: fly time about 7 ~ 9 mins on 75% throttle... biggrin.gif

leyley: come join us~~

daddoo: I imported it myself and marely gone through the custom... my total is about RM1k inclusive of tax...
But before you enter, you must at least have some basic knowledge on r/c heli... it do helps a lot... since it is small so not so easy to setup either...

I would import some parts soon for 4G6...

I have an idea here, those who said that the 4G3 is too light and therefore hard to control, you may stick some heavy object under the heli, especially for the beginner, isn't it this will help to learn hovering?

Added on February 4, 2010, 10:48 pm

wow, how many months u fly ur 4G6? The ESC gone?
*
If you put heavy object... are you sure that it will even lift off the ground?? sweat.gif

Less than a month~!! doh.gif small electronics... will tend to burn with small current surge... mad.gif

The load of the motor can be decrease by lesser pitch curve.... so you can try increasing the pitch curve little by little till satisfaction lo....
Decrease the pinion gear will do the tricks too...

How about increasing the expo??
Increasing the flybar weight is an option too... but not too much as your heli will become slow respond...

ok ... found the ESC .. i think it should be working but i cannibalised the connectors for use with XP7A ESC .. hehehehe
the batt connector and the connector to 4n1 is missing .. the standard servo connector which walkera use to connect to motor is still attached
u will have to cut your KONG liau  ESC connectors to use with this one
