QUOTE(QiW @ Nov 4 2010, 12:28 AM) u madeĀ the plastic thing is becoz the prop too thin the adapter cannot grip it right ?? yeap, without that plastic the adapter cannot grip the prop tight enough. the plastic is only a round shape piece of plastic same like the stock spinner base plate. if that plastic is flatĀ and the hole that goes thru the plastic is 100% centered then no probs laaa ... but u have to make sure the prop is properly sitting in the center as well ... imagine unbalanced blades at high RPMs ... the prop's hole is just "ngam ngam" to fit to the shaft/adapter, for example hole is 4mm and the shaft also 4mm diameter. therefore the only looseness is only horizontal axis, cannot be vertical axis looseness. Is it safe to test up to 3/4 throttle on the ground by holding the plane? Want to see how much vibration possible because the firewall is made of EPO so really worry a bit ....... we whack full throttle on the ground to check for current draw ( using meter la) so that we dont fry things in the air sometimes
your motor not that powerful ... should not be a prob to whakc the throttle on the ground unless alot alot of vibrations laa u take the plane to open spaces facing open area b4 u try ... just in case anything flies out |

Added on November 4, 2010, 11:15 pmYa, forget to ask, do we need to balance the prop usually ar? I mean is it very rare that a prop is imbalance originally? This post has been edited by daddoo: Nov 4 2010, 11:16 PM |

Hohohoho, I don't have prop balancing tool also ....
When you talk about RPM ah, how many rotation could be for a high RPM one? |

i stable my heli in 1 speed in the air without moving the throttle stick
then it suddently drop, then climb back why is this happen? i crash again because of this, it happened when i hover, but i just ignore it when i fly it around, it like this again, so i crash again no damage i can see, but the wobbling is now more obvious, and tail boom is bent, i suspect the blade shaft is bent, or mainshaft bent or both which cause the wobbling for the tail boom, i just straighten it back why my heli suddently lost power then comes back to normal? esc? |

QUOTE(QiW @ Nov 5 2010, 11:48 AM) 30k RPM on the blades considered higher than normal .. hehehehe 30k RPM??? Cant imagine what if this spinning prop hit people .....my funjet running around 35k RPM or so laaa Added on November 7, 2010, 6:28 pm QUOTE(ccfook2123 @ Nov 5 2010, 12:37 PM) i stable my heli in 1 speed in the air without moving the throttle stick I have the same problem too, so far when I clean up the motor's connector then the problem gone. Might be my ESC too but now OK already after cleaning the connector.then it suddently drop, then climb back why is this happen? i crash again because of this, it happened when i hover, but i just ignore it when i fly it around, it like this again, so i crash again no damage i can see, but the wobbling is now more obvious, and tail boom is bent, i suspect the blade shaft is bent, or mainshaft bent or both which cause the wobbling for the tail boom, i just straighten it back why my heli suddently lost power then comes back to normal? esc? You'll need to verify and check if you have the same problem like mine. Added on November 7, 2010, 6:40 pmMaiden my Cessna, thumb's up for this trainer plane for beginner. At first when I poke my finger at the CG to check the balancing and found the head is heavy a bit. Put some weight at the tail to balance up but then very hard to fly down. Then just dun care and remove the extra weight, it flown better and much more easier. Hehehehe, anyhow I crashed 3 times during landing because the grass is thick on the field. But surprisingly there is nothing serious and only the nose wheel is bend. Repaired and it is ready for another flight next round ..... it is really relax to fly than a heli and I can easily fly further to 150 meters away. Love this plane but too bad I have no maiden video .... This post has been edited by daddoo: Nov 7 2010, 06:42 PM |

Quite fun and scare because I was flying in a big soccer field around my house in hometown. There are a lot of terrace houses and sometime my plane just on their roof .... hehehhehehehe, although it is very high but if lost control then it is very dangerous ......

thats why we are selective with our electronics
we all live within a budget so we get the best value and reliability for our budget .. plus make sure installation is done properly damaged electronics may or may not be re-usable .. so have a proper test b4 going up into the air |
