Yeap, this is the one. funjet is faster ar? hehehehhehe, let me check it out ....

And then for epoxy ah, those that selling in supermarket or hypermarket can use on foamie plane or not? Instead of the epoxy you shown me in hobbyking which I need to wait for weeks to deliver.

planes are cheaper INITIALLY compared to heli .. if u are not going for high end laa
those epoxy u see in supermart .. some can use some cannot .. look at the instructions see whether can use for foam or not .. it will not eat foam but may not stick properly if not meant for foam

funjet is way way faster than those EDF laaa ...

I think i dont need epoxy for my foamie now, I want to get epoxy to install the nose gear upgrade on the firewall. The firewall is made of nylon.

But of course, I do hope that I can reuse the epoxy for my cessna repair in the future. Anyhow, touch wood first !!!!!!!!

the firewall is FOAM .. the motor mounting is PLASTIC
but hopefully u will learn to fly the plane well ... then no need to repair repair
just mod the wheel abit to take harder landings ...

motor mounting is something like aluminium then mounted on a piece of nylon for my cessna. Then this nylon is stuff inside the foam. Something like this ....

Start from 1:05 minute

Added on November 13, 2010, 10:27 pmIf I can only choose for either 30min or 5min epoxy for foamie, which one is the best?

satay stick is heavier but will do nicely ...
glue back blades ah ?? that one becareful la .. blades turning at high speed can fly off .. but your FP not as high as CP .. still a matter of time
plus blades will be off balance and introduce alot of vibs

Walkera's micro heli can actually allows you to do a lot of DIY job for part replacement if imagination is good enough tongue.gif
Just a bit worry that we will bring this habit to a bigger size heli later .... hehhehehe, I used to bend the 4G6 main shaft back after some crashes and reuse. Recently I did the same thing for my BCP main shaft ... wahahhahahah

i would choose 30mins ... gives u more time to work although u have to wait much longer for it to set
i do my repair work at home laa ... not at the field so not worried about waiting for epoxy to set .. just do it then leave it to set
i dont bend back any of my main shafts on my helis .. my bending skills no good la

I am a slow flyer. Not flying my heli slow but I mean I am slow in learning. Use to fly during weekend only so after 6 months then only I started to fly more nicely in F8.
Until now I am still doing nose in hovering with my BCP and 4G6. It has been 9 months since my first coaxial until now.
