i can hover 2 battery continueussssly now because i got only 2 batteries,hehe

before this i already can hover with the training kit, but every time i land it sure crash, because the training kit come off from my heli it
made me not dare to play, and i had no confidence to play without the training kit

then i went to a shop, i ask the tauke to teach me a bit
then he said ok, you try to hover it, and he will advise me a bit

so i tried to hover, without training kit
he said:"ey, you can hover what, you already know how to do it

i didnt realize this too until he told me

so i went back , and try to hover it, waau, really can, without training kit lol

hehe, so happy

to be honest lol, i dont have a simulator, i learn to play the bcp from my lama v3, i training by setting target to land on place i want
like i hover within 4 boxes on the floor at 1 feet height and land on the boxi desired

also i can touring it in my small apartment lol, landing on table, go in toilet come out from toilet, touring from room to room, land it on refrigerator and ETC






i lost control lama v3 just now, from like 6th floor? too far from my sight, too windy, i cant see it, i cant control it to come back, so i just droped it before it went too far
its too dark and i was too ego to flew it so high and so far

i thought i couldnt find it anymore, because it was so dark and full of trees, but lucky enough, i found it at somewhere i could see it
even from far away
this time, i thought this lama v3 comfirm habis liao, but when i found it, only the battery with the battery cover came off from the heli, otther remain the same, this is what i called as miracle,but
there was no indification LED light from the 4in1 controller, i re-plugged the battery, no responce, initially i thought it is the 4in1 controller spoiled, nvm i said, i still got bcp, so i went to play bcp and this time i finished 2 batteries with no crash, and i can like drive it around, the place i playing is like car park, i control it at like 3 feets and play it around with very slow speed, why i say i playing at car park is because there are some TIANG TIANG lol,, i'm able to avoid those TIANG and it is quite windy



after i came back from playing bcp, i tried to install another battery, it start spinning again, so happy lol

lama v3 really a anti crash machine lolzzzzzzzzzz


1)im telling you guys the place i playing at and the condition of the place im playing at because i want to ask, when i can start flying it around? i mean flying it more then 1 floor height? after i can hover it within a small space? if the answer is yes, within what range?

2)can i play the bcp 2 batteries nonstop? will it overheat?

3)and for the lama v3 battery, is the battery will normally spoil after dropped? any way to repair the battery?

im able to make it within 2 feets x 2 feets square box, i think this trick makes me learn to play so fast, so i want to share it to others lol

its spoil after 2 days
the motor not working

i sent it back to repair
the time before i pass it to them to repair, i asked them, what is the price for repairing motor? they said around 35
i said ok, 35, not too expensive and worthy coz i bought the heli at 170
i asked them, when i can take back my heli, they said after 3 days coz they dont know how to repair, need to send it to other to repair

after 2 weeks, no news
i cant wait anymore and i dont have their phone number
i went there, they said, still repairing
changing a motor for more than 2 weeks time? nvm i said

after 1 week, which is 3 days ago, they called me, and said the heli is done repairing
i went there to take the heli
oh my god, rm79, 59 for a motor
and 20 for setting
what are them setting for 3.5 ch heli?
nvm, i paid rm70
i just paid the 70, because i already had a mind, not to go to that shop anymore, just pay them 70, and no next time

i asked them to test fly
i hear the engine is screaming very loud, but only fly 1 feet high
i asked them, why like this?
they said it is because no battery, the engine is good one
its acting exactly like no battery, im newbie, know nothing,then i take the heli and go back

after i fully charge it, i try to fly it, it is still the same, the heli only fly 1 feet high

im very angry because, they charge so high price, and give me a spoiled motor, and claimed they tested it
they shop at the same floor and other floor are selling 140 for the heli and they selling 170
changing the motor only cost not more than 30 in other shop with no extra charge like setting

i called them , they said bring it back to see what happen
it is so far for me to go there, 45 minutes driving from here to there and the petrol? toll? they think im so free to go there again again is itttt????????
im not sure if they going to charge me again this time

u have managed to hover the BCP !!!

as for your next step ... learn to hover side in and nose in
ie. hover the heli with the nose of the heli facing your left and your right and then facing u .. this is called orientation practice

do not attempt this with your BCP 1st .. since your lama is still working ... try that with the LAMA .. same thing .. set a square that u must not get out off .. then lift off the heli and turn rudder til heli is facing either left or right .. hover it within that box for a few batts ... then the other direction .... and then facing yourself

as for your case with the shop ... nothing much u can do ... u should have asked and shopped around for prices and repair costs b4 u invested

FYI ... i have never used a training kit when i learned to fly
apparently the training kit screws up the performance of the heli and makes more trouble that it is worth (oso introduce vibs to the gyro)

helis normally ppl do not fly 6 stories high .. it is for close up entertainment and fun coz u cannot see where the heli flying after a short distance
that is why we fly PLANES .. can fly far far .. hahahahaa

with plane .. u feel panic the 1st time it gets in the air .. hahahahahaa
after a few batts and u get the orientation well ... the sense of freedom and free to fly everywhere comes ... makes u wanna fly high and far as u dare (or as your radio system can) ... hahahahahaahaa

ccfook, I think you should invest on the sim. Using that as your training will definitely reduce the chance of crashing and hence help you to save a lot more of repairing cost. It worth to invest a little bit of money on this.

Some more you can get to enjoy to fly other heli and plane in the sim also. But at the first place you must get a Tx to fly plane because the stock BCP tx cannot be used to fly plane in the sim as it has the mixing for channels. Please correct me if I am wrong.

the BCP 6 channel tx has cpm mixing ... cannot use in SIM
in the SIm u need a 4 channel tx .. aileron elevator rudder and throttle control only

good news for me, the shop tauke said may be i can use lama v3 original sim cable and Tx to play use the SIM

for my case with the shop, i really not blaming them for charging me so high, but i feel them fooling me around, thats why i angry

1) the said around rm35, but it became 70
2) they claimed they had try it, but the engine is imposible to fly lol, it is so tide, its spinniing but slow
3) i hear the engine screaming so loud when i ask them to test fly, they said because it is good engine? cannot fly because battery low( they selling for so long already, i think they knew something wrong with the engine when they heard the sound of it lol)

BCP stock 6ch Tx can be used in sim if we change the switch setting. Those switches are located in the battery compartment. My Tx is the 2.4GHz version there might be slight difference with other version. Once you have done that you can use, I have tested and it works one ... for heli lah .....

So for plane I am not sure if it can fly in sim or not with the same Tx .....

esky's lama tx and sim cables work with a lot of simulators. eg FMS, Aerofly, Realflight...you just need to set it up properly. note however, it needs and will eat batteries when used in sims. that's why most people would opt for the usb tx instead. i instead opt for dual analog joystick .

Instead asking LHS people, ask QIW.. He is a pro in RC knowledge.

bcp tx can be used in sim too, need to adjust the setting behind the battery cover

You should let your BCP rest for at least 5 or 10 min in order to cool down the motor AND ESC also. I think why people keep complaining the BCP's ESC burning is because they are withdrawing too much currect that the ESC can handle. Heat is not good to these component especially the coil&magnet inside the motor.
Swap your heli while you waiting for the other one to fly again. For example, fly your lama->BCP->lama->BCP and so on.
Do not trust battery which is spoil especially LIPO, it cannot be repaired. LIPO can catch fire easily if not in good condition. Better get a new one.

2250maH 25C I can go up to 10 minutes. You may take this for your reference.

Remember not to drop the battery voltage below 3.7V/cell, this will kill your lipo faster.

Depends on the flight mode mah. Mine always Normal mode and hover hover only.
And BCP is low end so it does not need that much of power. Usually I still got 11.2/11.3 after flying.

Increase your lipo rating/capacity to enjoy more fly time loh ....

Personal preference. People like me tends to enjoy more flight time since I am not into 3D yet.
But ah, battery is advancing now. So more capacity can be closer to the weight of the old battery. Need to invest loh ....... if time is not a concern then save $$$ for your plane and 4G6S
