dx7 and futaba oso have that feature .. its called RANGE TEST
it lowers the tx power significantly and ask u to walk 30-40 paces away and see if the rx is getting signal on the ground

Yes yes, something similar to what you mention about. Hehehe, so that one should be able to test the signal range loh, right? Then we don't have to get our heli or plane in the air to test .....

I watched ur on board cam video, it looks fun to capture the video. Was that a foam plane as I notice that in the end the plane was not landed properly.

that plane i was trying to capture is a WARHAWK balsa plane ... too fast for me to try and catch up ... and damm hard to try and follow it leh ... unless FPV la .. hahahahaaha
the camera was mounted on my slow foam zagi

as for the range test ... all ok on the ground ... but in the air ... depends on your luck la ... where i am flying prolly prone to alot of interference .. almost all dsm2 flyers there oso kena one time or another

Not cheap also .....
you know where to get parts already ar?

Added on May 13, 2010, 3:20 pmHaiyo, I think I have exhausted my 4G6 blade. I have been flying this little heli for about a month and there were a lot of crashes along the way, but i have never changed before tongue.gif ... huahahhahaha ...

Until these last few days, I started to realize my heli no longer so responsive to throttle already, even though I push it to max it will still just above 3,4 ft. Until i broken the blade last night, changed a new pair, now only it is back to normal ..... hehehehehhe ... feel that the 4G6 is so durable and maintenance cost so economical .....

It's really good for a beginner. Crashed it for more than 20 times but so far I have just replaced a pair of blade, 1 main shaft and 1 shaft drive gear.

Main shaft can be straightened and reused again ..... hehehehhehe

4G6S not much changes on the parts except 4-in-1 receiver, landing skid and tail fin set only ......
