imax B6 is good enuff laa .. i oso using something similar
2200mah batts .. u need minimum 25C to preserve your batt
if u use 20C u might not notice the diff in hovering but it gets puff up easier and that will shorten lifespan
3S 2200mah 25C should be around rm90 laa ..

KEkeke, it looks like if I get 2 more batteries and charger it will cost 500 bucks.
Any other extra accessory I need to buy? i.e. power adapter, cables?

How long it takes for a charger to charge up your 3S battery? 2200maH also?

normally charger does not come with power adapter (the laptop type convert AC to DC 12-17v 5-7A) ... that one u have to buy separately
unless u already have a laptop adapter which meets the power rating requirement for your charger .. 5A minimum
normally i charge my 2200mah lipo at 2.6A ... takes about 40mins per batt balanced charging
u can see on the digital display how much mAH u are putting back into the batt .. if u are putting in more than 1700mAH for your 2200mAH lipo then u are overdischarging your lipo
rule is to put back about 80% of your lipo capacity ie.1700mAH for a 2200mAH lipo .. so time your flights to control this
start with 5mins .. then check voltage .. if way above 3.7v then can extend the time until lipo is apprx 3.7-3.8v immediately after flight while batt is warn (not hot)

Only if I have that kind of charger then only I can monitor ... hehehhehe
now I don't bother much as the stock chargers just indicate red or green color status only.
So usually I just fly the heli till I notice the battery power drop. Usually around 5~6 minutes ..... measure with a multimeter, the 1S battery just 3.7V nicely. But it may not following the 80% recharging rule tongue.gif

when u hit 3.7v ... it is very very close to the 80% guide line already
normally try not to go below 3.7v
flying until u see power drop is NOT GOOD .. that means it is already below 3.7v ... maybe 3.2v or lesser

when u fly ... the batt is under load .. u must measure the voltage IMMEDIATELY after u land .. not 5mins or 30mins later .. u can try check it immediately after u land while batt is still hot/warm and compare it with 10-15mins later ... u can see maybe 0.1-0.2v difference
under load while u are flying the difference is even more ... prolly more than 0.5v diff when under load for individual cells

btw ... the lelong item (SIM cables with all the adapters incldg FUTABA) arrived today ... tonite go hom test test .. hahahahahaa

I would not go below 3.6v the most. Usually the measurement right after the flight give me around 3.7v. KEkekekekke, never see 3.2v before .... sounds like my 4G6's flight time quite reasonable ......

So tonight you will use your Futaba Tx for sim already loh .... hahahah enjoy your new sim experience then tongue.gif

Usually I would just read some reviews from internet. If nothing extremely bad comment about that heli then I will go for it. This is why my BCPV2 is with me now.
Hehehe, you need to make decision yourself tongue.gif
But I remember I have read something not so good about the HK one, not so sure about Flasher.

for hovering and some FF .. 3S 2200mah 25C recommended
charger is subjective and up to your budget
HK450GT is a good heli .. it will grow with u until u can invert hover depending on your electronics

u can get comparable or maybe better abit performance for less than rm90

I think my 4G6 haywire already ... adding or removing the canopy will cause it's flying characteristic changed.
Probably crashing it too much tongue.gif

your 4n1 is not stuck on properly .. the canopy vibrating and touching the 4n1 causing the gyro to go crazy
oso try not to let the canopy touch the 4n1 even when canopy is on

Hi guys i finally got my first CCPM (HK450GT)

The seller told me that it is not for beginner which is true but everyone has a start, Alan Szabo also once a beginner and Jason Krause did asked someone to guide in setting up his CCPM.

I understand that they told me that ARTF CCPM is not really simple putting the Battery and RX/TX. It needs settings.

Do anyone knows if there any guide for me to read up on how to do the setting up?

I believe those Nuttcaze's videos will help a bit.

Cliffang also has pointed out there is an e-book with the name something like ehbg.pdf, electric heli beginner's guide.

Youtube has a lot of CCPM setup, blade tracking videos.

Look for those material I am sure it could be a good starting point to move on.

ESky charger? Very slow one, not sure if it can be used for other capacity rating or not ....... i.e. from 1800 to 2200maH.

But FYI, currently to recharge my stock battery with stock charger, from ~11.2v to ~12.4v, it takes more than 5 hours. It will be longer if your battery is 2200maH.
