Xbox is a good machine.......but not much RPG n Japanese games..........u buy Xbox for the Halo series..n DOA series.......buy PS2 for Final Fantasy series, GT series n Devil May Cry series.....

but Xbox sure got the better graphic........n i think more durable than PS2...

Don't believe urban legend totally. Never have problem with my PS2 Slim. However i never play > 3 hours...don't have so much time to spare anyway!

IMO, PS2 Slim is a great console as long as you don't intend to site there for extended period. I think if you play 8 hours one stretch, all consoles also die very fast no matter what.

It also helps to play it in an air-cond room.

Now PS2 slim is cheap mah...........if dieliao......buy a new onela......

Yeah...by the time your PS2 Slim die, it's probably cheaper than now...also, it beats spending on PC hardware anyday...a mid-range GPU alone can cost > than the PS2 Slim!!!

Err..Xbox is dead nowadays right? And so is PS2?

I havent played Xbox's KOTOR1, KOTOR2, Otogi, and a lot of PS2 old games such as Tenchu, Fatal Frame series, ZOE2, etc etc.

Sungei Wang shops still got those old games ka? Really need to get my hands on KOTOR 1 & 2...

Xbox not yet dead...but very soon. PS2 still be alive and kicking come this time next year though.

btw, i'm trying very hard to look for Tomb Raider Legend XBOX version...anyone can find it here? I havn't go down to Sg wang yet...very far for me.

Xbox is not dead liao la..........still got many titles coming out from Xbox n so on PS2.......

yup....its known tat gc much much betta than ps2....but i dun really think its worth it to buy a gc just for re4....unless u plan to buy some other games for gc....

If as it is mentioned that the XBOX is not dead yet, does that mean that the console is still on sale in the M'sian market?

I know PS2 is still going strong because of its large game library and fan base from the PS2 days.

My point is that is it too late for me to get into the XBOX scene? I'm considering on getting one; thats for sure.

actually imho it is too late for you to get into the xbox scene.. unless u want to buy a game console that soon to be just a dvd player... ms has already stopped their support for the xbox.. if im not mistaken theres no more new games for it after this...

my xbox is sittin in the dust right now.. no new games to play.. so sad.. if u still want it.. just buy a used set (if u can find one).. better value for money.. and dont go above 400 if u want to buy a used one.. the lower the better since u wont have that much games to play.. most shop in sg wang dont have that many xbox title anymore...

BTW a few shop at sg wang already have the "localized" version of the 360 games.. selling at RM 35 per game (what a ripoff).. but they said that the modchip isnt stable yet.. so i guess we have to wait n see ....

So, no new XBOX games but their back catalogoue of games still exists right? I don't mind since I'm not gonna spend a thousand ++ on a XBOX 360 to have my games emulated by software (pffft).

However things might shift my decision until more further 'changes' can be seen to the 'localized' 360.

IMHO, x360 play xbox 1 games with better quality, dont think its just emulator like in PC, its a full accelerated emulation with enhancement according to microsoft, but it only support certain game, not all the game can be backward compatible, such as DOA volleyball...

now my xbox masuk muzium barang antik.... no game so.. frust... grr.. but never mind now got new toy 360... yey... can play DOA4.. & N3.. so cool.. but
the price for 1 game RM25.. CRAZY... i can get Rm10 at johor & Rm12 at ipoh... hope i can burn kedai at sg wang yg jual Rm25....

That's because when you play Xbox 1 game on Xbox 360, the game's resolution is increased to 720p / 1080i (maybe also 1080p in the future after the dashboard update?) and Anti-Aliasing will be applied.

my friend tossed his ps2 violently.. "daily" .. it seems to keep on kicking~~..
even tho..
the disc tray is damaged...
his lense seems dont function mostly
the power n inject button is lose..
dent n scratches here n there..

it keep on running for 4 years..
mine broke for 2 1/2 year.. ( i tuk care more of my ps2.. but it broke down earlier ) both are FAT ver. btw..

and my friend's father.. tossed his xbox.. once.. berkecai..
the hdd dislocated..
the casing berkecai ady..
and its not functional..

soo sad.. xbox..
