Haha, i got mine on end of 2008 at about Rm500 at Hong Kong game fair but without ms. That time still cant mod yet, so only can play umd games

erm guys, i just successfully update to 3.52 M33. and now i'm trying to upgrade it to 5.00 m33 in order to upgrade to 5.50gen

so when i'm upgrading 5.00m33, and click the update from XMB, it went to a black screen:
Unpacking... done.
Please Wait...

been waiting for long time. like not responding any more, and it will auto off which i need to turn back on my psp. wheni turn back on, i'm still at tat black screen -.-"

any idea wats the problem???
did i miss any step b4 upgrade to 5.00M33?

better check the garage sales,coz some of the shop offer the new set with 8gb for only rm810..if u are from klang valley,it's easy for u to "jalan2" a bit and check those shops that stated inside the garage sales section.(walauwehh...now very expensive..last time i bought with 4gb only rm650 for new set..)

bad file perhaps? try redownloading the update files?
and is your battery above 78%?

hi bro,

i'm about to ask the same question also like you... anyway my problem might be the same it will stay loading until more than 5min-10min after that message pop-up saying cannot read UMD  ... but if i on my psp then open the UMD cover it boot up faster and no message sayin UMD cannot read... aiyoo what had happen...

another thing is when i played it's suddenly pop-up saying "Are you really sure want to exit the games"... .. it is like i suddenly hit the home button infact i did not do it... some says it's because of the "strip" what are the meaning of this STRIP..?

Any good shop that you guys can recommend and can be trusted as without they change the ORI part of the PSP except the faulty things?

oh ... just need to patch the firmware will do? is it easy to do? do i need any device? FYI my current unit is using firmware version 6.2 :-)

well blank screen with the power light on only. nothing else, you won't hear the boot up also.

oh mean my psp still survive 
anyway, i will try again 2nite.
