Anyway even if got, just have to be patient and see if anyone sells them later in future. I browsed bfc site and some of the major shops pun tak ada.

sigh afiqkhairi, after all the discussion that was put on this subject, a bit surprised u went ahead. 99% will be taxed, and as makakeke pointed out you will be very lucky if you escaped untaxed.

99.5% you will be taxed. If you used UPS.. 99.999% you will be taxed. Total amount of tax I predict will be RM1xx or almost to RM200... You could buy another jersey with that money..

We've been discussing this already with notoriez who got taxed with his purchase from NUFC online.. You can read it back here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1303914/+480

Maybe you missed out on it... good luck mate.

Anyway guys.. if you missed out on the FourFourTwo show yesterday on the appearance of me, chcher and some other My-FJC members, you can watch it again here:

Sorry for the quality though... hehe..

hmmmm total in gbp is 92.68, from my maybank transactions history it shows the total of rm497.68,

using express shipping, damn i thought if it was below 500 can avoid tax, didnt know if it was close to 500 would be taxed, sigh,

how do i pay the tax if i get taxed? the customs guy will call and go pickup or pay to the postman?

here's my order receipt from kitbag,

Normally Custom will used bit higher exchange rate when calculate the value of the order. Take for example, i have an order which the actual value was MYR 321 but the custom form shown was MYR 339. So your order seem very high possibility will get taxed. UPS will pay the tax amount & claim from you if the package taxed.

Only in Japan. If online, try Amazon Japan.

Alternatively, Weston Sports Store in Singapore might have it. Only 2-3 main clubs i.e. Nagoya Grampus, Urawa Reds but not the latest season. Maybe around 2-3 seasons back. Price is SGD200 onwards if I'm not mistaken.

your purchase was 93gbp. so thats definitely about rm500.
the exchange rate fluctuates daily so when it reaches malaysia, they will use the current rate.

sorry to say, u will (almost) definitely get taxed, from my experience.
UPS will wanna get the goods to you on time, because that is their duty n promise to the customers.
so if it's above the rm500 limit, they will just show the invoice, pay the customs duty and then send it out.
then u have to pay the tax when the item reaches your house plus a surcharge of rm25 because they paid for you first.

the limit to avoid tax is abit tricky because kitbag negotiates their rates with UPS.
so while u paid 12gbp for shipping, kitbag may have paid more depending on the weight of your parcel and other factors.
but they only charge you 12gbp so that it's cheap for you.

when it comes to customs tax, there are 3 factors that come into play.

CIF -
C = consignment (the value of your package)
I = insurance (any insurance coverage by the shipping company)
F = freight (shipping charges)

so while your purchase could be low, the freight charges could be high because of the weight of the package and other factors.
so dont always try to go so near the limit of rm500.
keeping it rm450 and below, and also ensuring that u dont order too many things at one go will ensure that you wont get taxed in the future.

i've kena'd before, so it was a very good lesson learnt for me.
i believe others have experienced if before too.
we just learn from our mistakes, and move on smile.gif
