QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Jan 27 2010, 03:15 PM) It does. Previously using ORTHOS to stress the CPU the highest temperature recorded was 89-91 degree celcius. It dropped to about 79 degree celcius now. The temperature is so freaking high, wouldn't it destroy the CPU? |

did u do the correct settings? Running Windows 7?
Attention if ur using Windows 7 Follow this: Management>Untick Enable OS Power Management Intergration Also some ppl in NBR suggest to untick Engage IDA under the Advanced CPU Tab. It could be windows 7 and RMClock power management conflict.. Since it wasnt developed for Windows 7.. |

QUOTE(Mr.LKM @ Jan 27 2010, 06:12 PM) But there is a lot of room to go. Any idea what's preventing the voltage from going lower? Or it's just the reading of CPU-Z is wrong? You could use multiple temperature monitoring software like HWMonitor if you think the temperature is inaccurate. But don't worry, most laptop CPU are designed to handle high temperature, 90C+ is common, some even playing games at over 100C but its rock stable. What other things could be the culprit? Maybe dust if your system is few months old, but ultimately laptop is hotter than desktop because small heatsink and fan to cool them down |

Just verified that cpu-z 1.5.1 reported wrong voltage but 1.5.3 showed 0.950v which matched the value I set in RMClock 2.35
