hmm.. did u change the processor settings in power plan? Min. to 100% and Max. 100%?
Let RMClock take care of the CPU not Windows 7..
Last time i had voltage spike higher than stock voltage.. Even my multiplier got to 10.5x @ 2.53GHz lol.. Like OC'ed.. P8600 as u noe stock @2.4GHz..
So after i changed the min.processor state to 100% it works fine..

QUOTE(Eugene91 @ Feb 7 2010, 07:12 PM) Great! Join the club I see you enjoying those games BF:BC2, and C&C 4? Yeah,i got both of their beta. BFBC2 is too demanding,as the engine is designed to load all the calculations on the processor. The CPU is pretty much always on full load and my laptop heats up extremely fast till the processor underclocks. In order to play this game properly,i think undervolting is probably the only way. Reading the guide now.

I try it. But done it to the 11x Multiplier. Should i do it to the 6x Multiplier too?

User ID:scar_face008 Laptop Model:Dell e1505 Processor Model:[T2300]@[1.6GHz], [FSB 166.3], [Cache 32K, 32K, 2048K], [65nm Yonah], [Wattage 1.2625V] Stable Undervolted Voltage
Previous highest temp: 60C~ (70+ when dust accumulate) After Undervolt: 45C 100% load in 36C room Min temp don't change as x6 multiplier already use lowest Vcore.

But i only see the processor running at 11X or either 6x if on battery. If the 6X is the lowest already. Just leave it?

if u guys want the most from ur lappie, then don't do it. It may seem pretty green in the long run, but it isn't a wise choice. A good performance lappie will definitely compensate for ur loss, if u know wad i mean =D
PS: no other factors are taken into consideration apart from 'I'm not an eco-man'

Sorry to bump this thread, but the Studio 15 I undervolted yesterday was not stable at the voltages stated on the first page. It was the same cpu @ Core2Duo P8600..

Thinking of undervolting to get lower temperatures but totally have no idea how

Attention!~ Windows 7 Users!: When using RMClock on Windows 7 this need to be done: in RMC in Management disable OS power management integration in W7 in power plan in Minimum processor state set 100% Remember to do the above
